Would it be advisable at this point to do some pruning back to maximize light to bud sites, as well as proper airflow throughout the plants?

Id say dont touch them. They look like they are doing great! Get a bigger fan!

You will get shitload of nice buds!

I have a 12" oscillating going in there today, plus I have an 8" Valuline 435CFM inline fan on a fan controller for 175 ft³. I usually have it running at half power, so I am replacing the air in tent once every 1 minute and 15 seconds.

looking great m8 thats going to be well crowded in there These cream caramel can grow big !
mine are touching just under 2 feet tall and 16" wide however...... well nice keep it up :) you are going to have a bumper crop me thinks !
I think Im more excited about your grow than you are :) cant wait to get hold of a aero 60 I made enquires today Just waiting to see how yours turns out !
lotta money for 3M2 of planting..... but Worth it I'm hoping
keep on doing what you are doing

Thanks for the love. Don't get it wrong, I am crazy excited, I just have no idea what to expect at all day to day, nor what to expect overall from this grow, so I have nothing really to anticipate other than knowing that after this grow is over I will not have to shell out money for bud anymore, yes!

As far as the Aero 60 goes, I sent you a PM.

Hey guys, thought I'd shoot a mini update. I woke up this morning and stuck my head in the tent to be overpowered by the smell of coffee and chocolate. upon closer inspection, it seems as if I am starting to get some trich production on the fan leaves. I took the best shots that I could, but remember, it's an iphone camera. Enjoy.

I'm sure someone already said this but don't prune only bend to train. tuch the large leafs in to expose budsites

Yes, I wasn't actually made aware of this until after I had already trimmed up about 4 of the plants. That was about 5 days ago and the are actually still growing just as vivaciously as the rest.

I will note that it was not good to start with 1 panel and add the additional one later. Reason is that about 6 of the plants grew extremely well during that time in the core penetration zone of the light while the others suffered. When I added the second light and rearranged the weakest plants in to the current strongest core penetration zone, they benefited yes, but I am still having issues getting the light low enough to the smaller plants without risking burning the bigger 6 or so that are about 4-6 inches taller.

With that being said, I sure wish that I did have a 3rd LED right now, or even a 4th. I have opted though to hold out of that until I establish a proper CO2 setup. I have noticed that in my tent it now runs about 4-5 degrees warmer after adding the new light. With ambient temps of 70 degrees in the house, it's 79 degrees in the tent now. Just loosely compiling those variables with adding another two lights would yield about 89 degrees, a little bit on the warm side if you ask me. Especially if growing into/during the summer time. With that being said, I will probably opt for 1 additional light for two reasons. 1. Energy Consumption. I figured 1400 watts to run an entire system 20 hours a day, then the other 4 hours roughly 300 watts would look a lil suspect. 2. Heat. I could probably more easily get away with having my room at 83-85 degrees for optimal CO2 uptake with a 3rd light, but a 4th one would add too much heat, unless I was growing in the winter and left a window open. That turns in to a safety/security concern to me though.

I had one LED question, if anyone could chime in. Is it worth it to calculate your lumens per sq ft? I have done mine @ 3550 lumens per sq ft, though when I read across the net, I supposedly would benefit from 5000-8000. This calculation is obviously referring to HID lighting, not LED. Is there a conversion method for LED since it uptakes 6x the amount of usable light needed as opposed to HPS?
Ideas?

I just burned a bowl, so I hope all of that makes sense or has sense of purpose on this post to share with others in the future with grow questions and ideas/feedback. :bong:

What would look suspect, and to who? 1400 watts is less than a small space heater. When I need to bring up the temperature in my room, and I think... hmmm, I could put a heater in here at 1500 watts, ooorrrrr I could put a 1000w light in here.... I opt for the light. :) haha We had around 3 degrees F last night and my room only got up to 77. I need it around 85, so I'm thinking I need to add some more lights!

The consistency with power the power usage, and the times of the day the usage goes up and down the same every day. I never thought of comparing it to a space heater. My roommate had just informed me that I might want to change my lights out cycle to avoid redundancy in the power usage and times for the power company to catch on to. I'm trying my best to ride that fine line between cautiousness and paranoia. Now that I put it in perspective of a heater though, I'm not sweating it. I was comparing it to running two computers constantly throughout the day.
