Lighting A-Train's DIY, Mars 1200 LED to COB !!!!!

.

And you best be careful who you call a troll...... I work hard to provide useful information, if you don't like it, take your attitude elsewhere!

My man. I don't want to turn this into a damn stick measuring contest. But reread the answers I provided in the last thread, I try my best to explain things for some people but I've got limits myself. Take a gander at my led guide, help me contribute to it if you've got something to add. But don't go bumping old posts with bad information looking for internet karma or whatever.

After the DIY was adeed... I went with 2 CXB3950 72V COB running g 1 per driver. This thing is super bright. Later once I save a little cash I'll be running a light I'm drawing up now I'll run 6 CXB3950 72V cobs in my 3x3 when it's all said and done. Just gotta save up the funds

I want it to last... I'll use holders after drilling and tapping. The plate to mount is very thin ... I didn't think of going directly to the heat sink just due to all the other hard ware I have to rig up and have to have a way to mount. I hope having 3 fans on it helps...
Where did you get your parts from I have 2 LEd lights indeed parts for and the people at hydrogro led are pieces of shit

Ahh, I wasn't looking at AU distributors, that is a great price! I'd have gone with them if they'd been available at that price when I built mine.
Ok so maybe you guys could help me so I have a hydrogrow sol 4 led it is 4-85watt cob LEDs they have burned out and hydrgrow is being assholes and won't honor their warranty cause they are producing new line of lights and they have no spare parts atm. So I'm screwed and I need to replace the cobs so which would be a good replacement and also I don't need to use the original housing so what ever will work and be as powerful as I can with those drivers

You need to open it up and get the specs off the drivers first. If its one of those chinese cob lights, its actual draw is probably around 120 watts? so likely only will run one or two good cobs. but we need the driver info to answer this. That also mean the heasink is only good for up to the actual draw of the current chips. You might be able to run 3 CXA 2530 or 3 Citizen 1212 chips ( I need to check the actual part # for the 1212 )
