Indoor 420Fastbuds Original Skunk Auto, Dinafem Auto Cheese XXL, Zambeza Blueberry with new lights

The best tools in the world cannot make up for stupid mistakes. My 35 gallon top-off tank normally has 40 or 50 gallons of water run through it a month and it has aeration to keep it fresh. Well while the grow room was down for new lights the tank went stagnant. No water running through it and the air pump was running making noise with very little air actually making it through the stone in the tank. I normally use that water to germinate with and this was a mistake this time. I do not know this as a fact but I believe an anaerobic pathogen led to the failure of 10 seeds. The only proof I have was the following 100% germination of seeds using fresh water. Lesson learned.

Well I have had to pull the electrical panel apart 3 times to find what was wired wrong :dammit:.

It turns out that the three lighted panel switches were wired wrong. The cheap ass switches I bought had no markings and with three legs AC in AC out and a ground for the lamp there are 6 possible ways to wire it. I went through 6 before I got it right .

With that set up and box, I was thinking you're some kind of electrician or other specialist.
I always like your room set up. Looks like the perfect situation of a home grower with a professional mindset.

Thanks @Shiva's Mistress. I am retired with too much time to fill. I was a Network Administrator when I retired but have had many jobs over my life. Some electrical knowledge came from various fields but my 12 year Admin job was in a manufacturing plant that was completely automated and driven by computers. I understand electricity to a point. I am not an electrician.

What a long winded start............................

Transplanted the Cheese girls today and we are on our way.

I soak the Hugo blocks in 5.5 PH water with week 2 nutrients @50% for 30 minutes this neutralizes any residual lime from production. After 30 minutes we are at 5.8 PH and PPMs 520-80 = 440 PPM of nutrients.

There is at least ten little roots ready to bust out of the cube. I put a teaspoon or so of Mykos in the hole wet it and push the starter cube gentle but snug into the cube, add the floraflex cap and algae blocker. Into the tent they go.

In 9 days they will get their first fertigation. I have hand fertigated the Skunk and the Blueberry has 4 or 5 days to go for its first drink.

I don't know if you guys are aware that GreenLeaf has a new 2 part Mega Crop that will allow you to really dial in your NPK ratios. You cannot hit the exact 2-1-3 for veg and 1-2-3 for flower that is touted as good ratios for autos. You can get very close and nearly an infinite set of ratios in between. I find this very intriguing. I got my delivery today. You really owe it to yourself to go out and play with the 2 Part Single Tank Calculator it is the bomb!

Look how homogeneous part A is now! Part B is the larger spheres (smaller than a BB).

Guess what the girls will be eating this run? I will continue to add Humic Acid, Kelp, B1 and maybe some other NKP Industries additives.

:woohoo:

A 5-12-26 is almost the same as the Peters / Jacks line, which I use with their 15-5-15 TE mix for my hydro veges.
I like a powder-form two-part mix. Not too complicated, and gives the possibility of variation.

Hey, checking, I see that Jacks have this specifically for Canna:
