Mephisto Genetics 1Sky Trys Mephisto with Amare SE450 & A-Train's Nute Schedule

The branches of my N.Cheese Hazes are too thin, tall & weak to support their buds. So I'm getting lots of breaks. Especially [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] -- I guess that by now almost 30% of her branches have broken. I've got more wire & pipe-cleaners pulling things up and together than I can count. Fortunately, I think she's pretty close to harvest (79 days). What do you folks think? ...

Broken stems is a good problem to have. Never seen larf/whispy buds break stems before so you're doing something right. Buds look frosty, resin tacos look delicious! :baked:

Horrid bud rot or just a little early die-back? Your opinions please. I'm still too new at this to be sure of much, but this looks suspiciously "not good." Here we have two outside spots of two colas that are all dried up. But I don't see any grey or white fuzzy stuff.?? This section of the plant was intensely covered & crowded when the 4 large plants in this tent were pushed together to be more centered under the light. That situation has been corrected now that several of the other plants have been moved over to a 2nd tent. Here's the first spot:

And here's the second spot:

Any comments greatly appreciated. :coco:

Ooh I'm no expert but it doesn't look good. @Waira seems to be pretty good at these things
I gotta agree with the above responses of Mizzo and Roasty, that's not good and it appears to be rot. Disclaimer: I've never gotten rot before so I can't confirm although it looks like what I've seen in pics from others who claimed to have suffered from it. I Hope you can salvage your crop dude!

:smoking:1Sky'-- botrytis moves inside the plant first, then sets spore outside,.. no way it's normal die back surrounded by living tissue! ...treat mold like gangrene, chop until it's clear plus immediate proximity bud that likely is infected with spores and/or inside,.. painful, I know! Take whole budlets at stem bases, never chop mid bud, this will just open up fresh "wounds" and easy access for the spore to dig in all over again,.... Slip a bag over the top of each before cutting to reduce the spore release coverage when you snip,... new exposed area should get as dry RH and light exposure as you can arrange,... :goodluck:

Arghh, such a beautiful, monsterous plant. It's like I won the lottery but lost the ticket. :crying:

Thanks for the quick response folks (@Roasty McToasty @Farmer Dee @Mizzo81) and the diagnosis and treatment plan from @Waira. Much appreciated. I'm on it with my surgical team.

Fortunately, there's still a massive amount of buds on this plant. But as this is now the 2nd time for mold, I think that if it happens again, then I take it all down and off to harvest, even though I think she needs about 2-3 more weeks.

Damn man i hate to see the bud rot on any of these they were so perfect until that.. chop it all oit and finish strong... i would add another 6 inch clip fan to blow the tops of your buds on the next run

The rot has been extracted. But this Lady gets harvested in total tomorrow morning. And ... 10-4 on an additional 6-inch fan from top down.

Yep, as a matter of fact, I got 5 of the Illuminauto [HASHTAG]#21[/HASHTAG] - Sour Crinkle (Grape Crinkle x Sour Crack). Why do you ask? Is it a favorite?

I also got Illuminautos Blue Toof [HASHTAG]#29[/HASHTAG], Crème Bubbly [HASHTAG]#23[/HASHTAG], Gold Glue [HASHTAG]#24[/HASHTAG], and.Grape Walker Kush [HASHTAG]#28[/HASHTAG]. And, from earlier orders, I still have some Sour Hound, Sour Livers, Stilton Special, N.Cheese Haze, and Ripleys OG. What do you recommend for next month's Mephisto GrowBattle?

I'm thinking of running 2 plants each from 2 or 3 different strains --- and running it as a contest within a contest by pitting BioTabs against your modified AN Nute program. Am I crazy?
