Well, been pretty distracted with other grows & stuff, so it's taken a while to get the final numbers and get this show wrapped up.
The grams per watt were 1.26. Not my best, but respectable and above my average. I'll take it happily.
Here's the final numbers on the 4 plants that made up this tent/grow:
Trainwreck: 69.1 grams, 2.44 oz, 1.5 jars of buds, 95 days from pop to chop
Cosmic Queen: 62.2 grams, 2.19 oz, 1.3 jars, 97 days from pop to chop
Samsquanch OG: 111.4 grams, 3.93 oz, 2.5 jars, 108 days from pop to chop
Sweet Tooth 1st Harvest (top): 234.70 grams, 8.26 oz, 100 days from pop to chop
Sweet Tooth 2nd Harvest (bottom): 123.50 grams, 4.37 oz, 113 days from pop to chop
As I said before, Trainwreck and Cosmic Queen were disappointing for yield -- in my opinion, neither came close to the potential for these strains. Samsquanch OG was decent and of course the monster Sweet Tooth really sealed the deal on this grow.
Days from pop to chop were quite long on all of these. I don't think this is normal, but I'm not sure what I did that contributed to such duration. I kept waiting to see some decent amber from the trichs, and that seemed to take forever.
I did eventually get some ambering, but in the process I fear that I may have "fried & dried" the top buds a bit. I also suspect that my "trich inspection equipment" may be part of my problem here -- some of my gear was too low powered (30x) to see clearly, and one that I purchased late in the grow was too high-powered (60-120x) to get proper focus and perspective. Next time I'm getting something that I can adjust around the 45x magnification -- and that will also capture digital pics.
This was my fourth grow using coco/perlite in fiber pots with a plethora of varying nutrients, predominantly from Advanced Nutrients. I've been very pleased with the results and feel that I have this method down to a repeatable process. One advantage of this approach is that one gets very involved with the plants and their growing phases -- lots of good learning. One disadvantage, obviously, is the time and attention to detail that is required. Here is the program used during this grow:
Ingredients:
Advanced Nutes+:
House and Garden: Roots Excellurator Gold
AN Sensi Coco GROW & BLOOM A/B, B52, Rhino Skin, Voodoo Juice, & Sensizyme
General Hydroponics: CALiMAGic
GreenPlanet Nutrients: Liquid W-8, Massive, Finisher, & Dense
Mammoth-P: Bloom Booster
Nectar for the Gods: Herculean Harvest
Real Growers: Recharge
South Cascade Organic: SLF-100
Optic Foliar
Schedule:
Ultimately, my goal is to lock down on a system that reduces time and the dependence of detailed daily care-taking. That's why I use a second tent & grow cycle to continue experimenting with other pots, media and feeding styles.
Well, that's it for my summary & wrap-up on this grow. Thanks for watching and commenting along the way. Happy growing everyone.
