Im down with this Remo Kelp, if you boys are using it. I’ve seen a few lads on YouTube stateside that rave about Remo and another brand Golden Tree. I used 3 cans of Co2 Fusion this grow, up till week 7 expensive at £66 and not endorsed by St.Tom

I used CFL for years for veg mate. And as @St. Tom they’re cheap and efficient too. I now use a CMH too veg as I occasionally need something too supplant my flower area so I invested in a light I could use in both circumstances.

I also use a single tube T5 for seedling and they are also very cheap and efficient. I think the single unit cost me about £15. You can get multiple tubes in a unit too increase your light intensity and coverage.
But, if it’s cheap and cheerful your after you can’t go far wrong with a cfl. A 300w is about £30. Plus, you buy blue spectrum cfl bulbs which are perfect for veg.

Cheers mate, that's great info, just looking now, I could use my cool tube plugged directly in and get a blue cfl.. What wattage would you think to adequately light a 20 inch x 16 inch tray?

kelp is known for helping plants roots also its great for stress a fella on her called slater put me onto foliar feeding with it and my seedlings are always impressive these plants are 11 days old today the front 2 and as you can see there sprayed with kelp daily i even spray with lights on with no issues under sanlights i cant say you wouldn't have issues under your lights or hps

I’m sold, I’m sure the kelp will be fine under my Migro. I’ve sprayed molasses at key times this grow, 15ml per 3gallon on our girl and had no light burn/issueS yet...
