Indoor Zaaboot has gone to pot 2022 auto spree

The ladies are in their new home
  • Hello again all - I trust you are all fine and dandy!

So today I finished everything (except things I forgot to purchase)
In the morning, nice & cheap lino floor was the order, I cut it up in to random pieces and re-position the room a touch, in my stoned little head this gave me the confidence I would not dirty my new carpets
    98449FB9-58A6-4FC7-A459-E5463028B26D.jpeg

Once the best carpet proofing that came to mind was laid to rest, the tent were reposition to make things easier for me to work around, at the same time a 100ltr water butt was put in to place and the lights and leads all in their right paces.

The butt will feed the blumats which will be distributed around the pots at anyone time.
    41C55BE7-09A4-4ED1-889E-B507FBEAAE9D.jpeg

Then back to the inside, light tested and dimmed to right level and a tiny desk fan put in place, alongside a heat mat.
    CDB7BF3D-EA5D-4846-83AF-4966F0763E62_1_105_c.jpeg

So then, on to the first of the Slaughtered lambs, this will live in Ecothrive living soil - and just to make sure, that will reside in a 39ltr fabric bag.
    05FA1000-CA59-4A4B-9B4B-8109553C2635.jpeg

The rest of the ladies have been put in to regular - Clover Multi I believe it is named. I am hoping to run as much as possible with water only, then I will use dry amends from Ecothrive to get the soils going - I Shall add some worms at some point soon as well.

The rest of the ladies were all potted into their final pots today - the red pots are the two Nugs2, I think the pots are either 3.5 or 4ltr - the other fabric bag is a 17ltr and the other two are 5 and 7ltr respectively (dont take my word for it, there is a possibility they are not). So the Slaughtered Lambs are in 39, 17, 7, 5ltr pots and the Nugz2 are in 3.4 or 5ltr pots - bugger, I still think it is wrong....

Disclaimer - never in all my days have I grown weed in soil, my tomatoes and other vegetables tend to survive outdoors in soil so what on earth could go wrong :eek1: With regards to watering, I just dampened the soil ever so slightly whilst heating it all up on the heat mat throughout the day.

So now, it begins, my first soil grow

Oh, the other tent is doing really well, as I have not been bastardising the b'jeezuz out of every living organism in there they have fully grown back and refilled the whole tent from their clean up a few days ago.

They are looking nice and lush now with no complaints, the SBAKs are flying, SBAAK 1 is going to be a beast, her girth is that of the lady that sings at the end!
I will pull the Jack in a few days, the trichs are close enough for me, and I want the space for the SBAK to keep on spreading. The CDLCxFS is trooping along like only a shire horse could - everything is rosy in the manor today - :bighug:

So then, as for now, some bourbon and a fattie is the order of the evening.

I bid you all a pleasant evening.

    Day 5 in soil
  • On this fine Sunday morn, I bid you all a good day!

the new set up is pretty much there, I added a phreshV2 150mm fan and a carboair60 filter, using phonic ducting. It annoyed me with the noise so I made a silencer - and I tell you what - it has reduced the noise by more than half, now I cannot hear anything coming out of the room at full pelt. It looks so it and takes up an ungodly amount of space but by Jove it works!
The Tent is now for this run a Sawney bean run in soil and living soil. There will be one CBD plant as well to keep sticks up.

the light is only at 20% and after the pic I powered it to 22” never measured before but as I had the tape measure out why the devil not.
They have received nothing since they were pwhen do I add water? How do I know it’s time for chicken poo?

And finally the newbies - Predator and Cali Doctor
    image.jpg

they Jack will go into the drying tent in a bit and these will be moved in to the larger tent the. That’s all faffing around until I set up the blumat.
All new, all fun and games - and please do help - I have no idea about soil - it feels weird doing nothing….
    Cheers

    Whilst I am online
  • After moving the JH out of the other tent I started spreading out the plants as I won’t be adding anything else in there for now as I am away for a bit here and there. I snapped a lovely big branch, pulled it back up - should be alright, I have drench led her with Remo Velokelp foliar.

    After todays clean up
  • The keen eyed will notice the Jack Herer is down :yay: I think it ran for 78 or 79 days.
Anyway, back to the action, I spend today - quick trimming, installing the fan in the tent tent, hanging Jack, and trimming and tying.
A couple of posts back you can see the room prior to the clean up, and this is throughout and the end

    Sawney’s Tent
  • As the name implies this tent is running Sawney’s beans :worship:
Let’s see where we are - the seeds showed their first signs of real life on 22nd and they were all potted at the same time to their respective pots. I only know some of the sizes the rest are guesses. Two Sawney’s strains here, to jog your stoner memories they are: 2 x Nugz2 & 4 x Slaughtered Lamb & 1 x Predator and the odd one out is a CBD 1:1 called Cali Doctor.
First time in soil, first time in living soil.

how do they look for their age? @Sawney_bean @hope2grow sorry to tag gents but I am buggered with the watering -when do I water, how much, do I need run off or not? For living soil I know run off is avoided etc… as mentioned the blumats will go in, I just needed to make sure the 100ltrres does not leak so it has been sat in a bath for a few days testing the joins to the blumats.

The fan annoyed me and my cardboard box bodge was unsightly so grabbed another extractor which I can hang without eating my precious floor space, I will use the bodged up Phresh with the same filter for the smoking room then we will have a totally smell and smoke free abode. Will show the hung fan once it arrives and is installed.

    Anyway here they are:

    Nearly set
  • Bit more sorting today all the babies are in their final pots now/ the blumats are ready but I wanted to get some heat mats before putting everything in it’s final place.

When the fan and filter arrive tomorrow I shall get this eyesore out of the room then we are golden me thinks

    SBAK day 50
  • I think it is day 50 anyway. Off tomorrow for a few days rest after that palava of deciding to set up a new tent, and going for it within a couple of days then going soil etc... a few days in a tree house with loads of nice hashish is the order of the weekend me thinks.

SBAK 1 and 2 are going crazy still, stretching for longer than I would normally expect but not an issue now the JH has come down.
Added 30 litres to the res, and it now sits at 2.0 E.C, let's see how they like that. CDLCxFS is dordelling along loads of stupid spindly growth, lets see what she does with a bump in nutes.

    Time for a break
  • All done, new fan in place of the other new fan with my stupid bodge silencer, so same kit...again.
This time I have not added a bodge to it (twat), and with the EC controller it is really quiet as it suits at around 10/15% and when the temp creeps up but not too much.

Anyway, finally a tenty looking tent - happy days

A bodgy tent - children do not do this at home!

    Back once again
  • Hello all, just got back from a few days away, everything looks good in the Coco tent, and for my eyes looking rather slow in the Soil tent.
I expect thats normal, first soil grow, new light, tent, etc.... I shall throw out as many excuses as you need but lets just say I am sure the soil run will not be my greatest hour, but we have to start somewhere.

Anyhow, this morning I have been setting up the blumat for the soil tent, I thought it would take ages, but unless it is buggered and leaks everywhere it only took about 20 minutes al in after the initial soaking of the carrots.
I will test this for a few days and if it is all good - I can smile
    D89F1761-B032-4E07-919D-E95975009491.jpeg

As you can see, everything has grown at varying speeds, once again the environment is not near ready, I will get some insulation for the floor and put heat mats under that so the entire floor space is heated at an ambient temp, then an inkbird for RH, and the heat will continue to be managed by the EC1 which controls the extractor - I do need to get as automated as possible...the more automated, the more time in the sun..simple as that really.

So a couple of issues in here, some of the leaves are really deformed, I think it looks cool _ i do expect them to grow out of it once they pick up but any ideas what could have caused that so I can try to avoid it next time. Lights running at 35% for now (480w LED), temps very stable at pretty much 25 day and night with RH floating between 60 and 80%. Any ideas as to what it could have been are very welcome.

NUGZ2 - they are the happiest so far, they are also in the smallest pots - does that make a difference?

Sweet Bourbon Auto Kush _ day 54
  • Hello - so I think they seem to be slower flowering then some of the others I have seen on the test grows, but I am very happy with the vigour and overall health of them.
Two plants SBAK and one CDLCxFS from Meph (bottom right).
All of them will get a skinhead haircut tonight and then I hope to leave them alone until chop.

    BB64EB73-9357-47C3-8FB5-EB49CB4CA587.jpeg

The untopped SBAK is pumping out trichs everywhere, even its larger fan leaves have started to grab some of the limelight - the expectation on this plant for me is high, lets wait and see.

I had the choice of trim jail for a bit, or to trim the leaves of the living plants - I chose the latter of the two evils, that really sucked donkey balls - surely I must be able to find a oversized mouse that I can be trained to that...you know people, throw in the mouse, out come clean nugs...I would say that is too much dab for breakfast.

Anyway - after filling up a large bucket with leaves it barely made a dent, so I will spray them with Velokelp and go again tomorrow.

It is a pain getting to the back side of SBAK1, so she needs a lot more work, the other two are nearly there, but will still give them some more tomorrow.
