Hello all - hope you are all well!
So then, back to normality & I hope and no more old war films and cheery stuff - yay
Decided to go and stay in London for a few days, so just been in to sort out the res and all that lovely stuff - Went to to Spotless water yesterday and filled up 120 litres so have enough of that for a few days. They are now at 10 litres per day between the four, the Red CBD looks a bit waterlogged, but nowt I can do as they all need to drink. I did nudge it up to 10 feeds per day but that was a touch too many so pulled it back to 8 feeds per day with each feed ranging between 15 and 30 minutes.
Still only receiving Bloom A&B and root tonic with a touch of calmag to get the EC to the right place, I am still having issues with low EC in the tank - and I must confess it has me stumped.
The tank has had fill ups at EC 1.2, 1.4, & 1.6 respectively over the past 3 refills, and by the next morning the res is back down to 1 to 1.2. At this stage of teh grow they should be sitting pretty at 1.6 to 1.8 - this is baffling, non of the plants are showing signs of over or under feeding but they seem to be gobbling up the nutes in a similar fashion to an individual who sucks c*ck for rock...neither of those scenarios appeal.....Any ideas anyone?
Otherwise things are plodding along nicely - the two DP girls are really shooting for the skies now and I have to tie them on a daily basis as they are pulling themselves free and developing in to an uneven canopy.
The Pure Red is really an oddity to me, it is small, droopy and has been the same for ages, she is growing and crowning and smells rather nice now too, but just a lack of vigour from the start.
The Broomstick got some serious abuse a couple of days ago whilst cleaning her up a snip, I managed to completely snap one of the larger branches, so I just used the bendy ties to hold it in place - today it looks like she has made a full recovery, imagine that a broken arm and back to play within 48 hours.
An abused but loving life Broomstick
Pure Red CBD has her hedgehog on - hedgehog reminds me of a very funny story, when I had the US team over to my offices in Dubai a few years ago, my son and daughter came to the office and sat outside the meeting room until we were done. Once done, both of them asked me why the Americans keep shouting Hedge Hog and clapping and Cheering...took me ages to work out what they were saying, then I realised the kids were hearing was "Good Job" which is a favorite board room chant from our bretheren over the pond. So, from then on the word "hedgehog" became key part of our 'boardroom bullshit bingo' game we played to keep things amusing - had most of the international team shouting out Hedgehog during CxO presentations. Absolute cracker
Clockwise from Top left we have the T&C, Mimosa, Broomstick, Pure Red
A flat canopy no more - this is my biggest gripe with the way I built the Lung room. I only have one entrance to the tent as it fits snuggly, so once they get to a certain size I can't really get to the back of the tent to work. Havingclub hands and sausage fingers makes it all the harder as well.
Right then, off to town for Lunch
Cheerio all and cheers for stopping by
