Indoor Zaaboot has gone to pot 2022 auto spree

Hey @hope2grow - indeedy they are flying, it's the best time to sit and watch them grow.

I am just trying something out with the calmag, as in theory they dont need as much if any when flowering and with calmag being EC expensive I am seeing how much I can take out giving space to up core nutrients which are really what it should be eating. Let's see - so it is still a test and I am not sure either way, it is the second run now and no issues on this or last run

Hello Zaaboot i stoped using cal/mag about 5 grows back unless i get deff which i havent yet i use Green planet nutes and grow in Canna coco which has been buffered. I havent used cal/mag in flower with no problem i think it comes down to what nutes you use

Calmag does raise the EC quite a bit and there usually isn’t enough room for any other flowering goodies. I tend to cut my calmag out around the second week of flower and substitute the PPM with a PK booster and some carbohydrates. If I do notice any calmag deficiencies later in flowering I’ll alternate the PK booster and Calmag to keep my EC in range or hand water with about 500 PPM of strait calmag to the plants that really need it.

Nice one @Dell boy good to know I am not going nuts testing something that makes no sense. It is just when reading about plants requiremetns at stages there is no requirement for it, also how much influence do LED lights have on the requirement Vs sunlight...When we all used HPS of MH it was not a thing.

perfect - pleased it makes sense, what you describe is roughly how I played it on the last run, now I am a few weeks in I have stopped it completely, so only the residual in the res which will amount to very little if anything by now. Thanks @420autoflower

So it has gone pretty nuts in there, I tried to hold off but I had to go in again this morning and will need to go in again at lights on.
A couple more branches on the Mimosa were also supercropped this morning. The ones cropped yesterday are already facing the lights.
The Pure Red is still litering but strting to show and with her small stature I can se all the branches being bud. The Broomstick is one angry strong little lady, no matter how much I remove from her, it is back by the morning - she has stretched a little and filled out her space, interesting to see how she packs out being so stocky.

I should point out the lights have been on 100% for about 3 weeks now, little worried about the mimosa as the big branch I can not really get to is reaching for the light, I expect it will get snapped back and positioned better, then I can lower the light a bit.

Take care all
