Day 74

I harvested some of 1 of the demon Auto Tao. It was the second to the back on the right. Possibly my most pretty one. Its a sativa and the buds seems quality on this one.

Having some issues with way too hot temps in my drying box today. 30 degrees plus. My portable aircon I was using to try fix temp seems to have died as well. I am using a different method for the remainder of the dry. I placed it all in paper bags and have put it in the vegetable draw in my fridge. Don't want this drying process to ruin my work.

thanks. It was great using autopots. Saves me a lot of work. I am going upgrade these to aqua valve 5 for larger diameter tubes to the pots. It's possible to buy the valve by itself. It will help with preventing any future leaks. I may also get a blulab controller for automated ph control. Either that or the blulab monitor at least for good constant monitoring. My ph pen died so I have kinda just been winging it for a while now.

Attached is pic of what I have harvesting drying in a new dedicated bar fridge that I picked up today. The low and slow dry. My partner was not happy about having in our normal fridge and smell was quite intense so good to have this one in the grow shed. A bunch of it was half dry from exposure to high temp so already have in jars.

Temp is usually 9c/50f and humidity seems right. Fridge on lowest mode.

Edit: I found bus rot effecting small part of cola on another bcn critical. I am looking to give it a chop tommorrow along with the largest demon auto Tao.

I have also accidentally killed one of my ladies. It was a photoperiod gorilla glue which I didn’t want to grow anyway, I thought it was auto When planted. I killed it by knocking into too many times and snapping branches when I was harvesting the others. It’s in very bad shape, I put it outside the tent in my garden. It will probably finish dying there but I just don’t have the room for it. The larger gorilla glue photoperiod is in the centre of my tent and I will keep that one.

Here is a couple that are getting the chop today. Also attached pic of the amber trichomes on the demon Auto Tao. Best I could get with shaky hands. I am also doing a second chop on a couple of them as the lower bud sites became more developed.

Quite a plentyful harvest today. Attached pic. I do feel that a bit of the bcn critical was chopped a little early but with bud rot effecting some I didn't want to risk it.

I will call this harvest stage 2 of 3

This is what is left:

1 demon Auto that doesn't appear to know what's it's doing now placed at the back right. Also appears to be photoperiod. Not yet touched.
1 photoperiod in the middle getting ready to take over Half the tent
1 bcn critical xxl that is in 5 gal smartpot but is going to take more time to finish so hasn't been touched
1 photoperiod killed before flower
3 bcn critical xxl Auto 70 percent harvested
3 demon Auto Tao havested 70 percent harvested

Day 78

Doing stage 2 trim to remove buds from stalks after this was dried a bit in the tent and then the fridge.

The 4 bags I harvested weighed in at 2.4 pounds after removing stalks and some drying but it's maybe half dry or less so can't really know the yeild yet.

I am planning the final chop in 4 days. The lower bud sites are actually fatenning up nicely. There is also the 1 bcn critical that was a week behind or so that should hopefully be ready to harvest by then.

Edit: Final chop rescheduled for next weekend, 7 days from now. 7 plants to be chopped down. 2 photoperiods I didn't mean to grow remaining in tent untouched but healthy. Hopefully I have more room in fridge by then. Fridge is full currently.

8x Aqua valve 5 has been ordered from UK to upgrade.

I finally had a chance to sample some bcn critical today.

It was part of a cola pulled early that had some bud rot infection present. All infected bud thrown out of course. It was dried in paper bags inside tent for a while, hang dried a while, in fridge for a while, then removed from fridge In jar / burped for a couple days.

It looks great, smells great, it's sticky dense bud. Its a smooth smoke and has hint of lemon / fruity taste. I believe it supposed to be a sedating high but being that this was pulled early there was not really much sedation. Its not like anything I have tried for many years. Very celeberal, euphoric, giggly high. I love it.
