Another room is occupied
These are the words of my lovely lady - you have taken over another whole room with your hobby - my answer is…. :vibe: It was an amusing exchange - I suppose I should have mentioned it over the past couple of days, ultimately it is me behaving like a child who has some new sweets, what else is a man to do whilst on a sabbatical, sit around or grow?

Anyhow - that was a bit of effort - had to take apart a bed and move some furniture out.

Both tents are in place now.:yoinks: To be honest, after one or two runs I will have too much smokeable so will take it down again, or I may continue with my battle against lethargy and take it down when I decide to return to work….who knows, I certainly do not!

The small tent is as big as it is, no idea really found it upstairs is in the garage so must have been sitting there since the olden days still in its box - as mentioned it will solely be for germinating/starting and drying. The large tent is a DR120 from Secret Jardin, I bloody love these but couldn’t find the DR100 for my garage room so went for the budbox and that sucks donkey balls, bloody rubbish it is.

Need to do the electrics etc.. then it will be lights on in the next day or so once the babies are ready

Anyway - ta ta for now you lovelies

The ladies are in their new home
Hello again all - I trust you are all fine and dandy!

So today I finished everything (except things I forgot to purchase)
In the morning, nice & cheap lino floor was the order, I cut it up in to random pieces and re-position the room a touch, in my stoned little head this gave me the confidence I would not dirty my new carpets
98449FB9-58A6-4FC7-A459-E5463028B26D.jpeg

Once the best carpet proofing that came to mind was laid to rest, the tent were reposition to make things easier for me to work around, at the same time a 100ltr water butt was put in to place and the lights and leads all in their right paces.

The butt will feed the blumats which will be distributed around the pots at anyone time.

Then back to the inside, light tested and dimmed to right level and a tiny desk fan put in place, alongside a heat mat.
CDB7BF3D-EA5D-4846-83AF-4966F0763E62_1_105_c.jpeg

So then, on to the first of the Slaughtered lambs, this will live in Ecothrive living soil - and just to make sure, that will reside in a 39ltr fabric bag.

The rest of the ladies have been put in to regular - Clover Multi I believe it is named. I am hoping to run as much as possible with water only, then I will use dry amends from Ecothrive to get the soils going - I Shall add some worms at some point soon as well.

The rest of the ladies were all potted into their final pots today - the red pots are the two Nugs2, I think the pots are either 3.5 or 4ltr - the other fabric bag is a 17ltr and the other two are 5 and 7ltr respectively (dont take my word for it, there is a possibility they are not). So the Slaughtered Lambs are in 39, 17, 7, 5ltr pots and the Nugz2 are in 3.4 or 5ltr pots - bugger, I still think it is wrong....

Disclaimer - never in all my days have I grown weed in soil, my tomatoes and other vegetables tend to survive outdoors in soil so what on earth could go wrong :eek1: With regards to watering, I just dampened the soil ever so slightly whilst heating it all up on the heat mat throughout the day.

So now, it begins, my first soil grow

Oh, the other tent is doing really well, as I have not been bastardising the b'jeezuz out of every living organism in there they have fully grown back and refilled the whole tent from their clean up a few days ago.

They are looking nice and lush now with no complaints, the SBAKs are flying, SBAAK 1 is going to be a beast, her girth is that of the lady that sings at the end!
I will pull the Jack in a few days, the trichs are close enough for me, and I want the space for the SBAK to keep on spreading. The CDLCxFS is trooping along like only a shire horse could - everything is rosy in the manor today - :bighug:

So then, as for now, some bourbon and a fattie is the order of the evening.

I bid you all a pleasant evening.
Z

Good evening all - just a quickie. The Jack will be coming down tomorrow at some point and as the SBAK's are trooping on I will just keep pulling them out to fill that space. I doubt they will cover it all but it will be good enough.
The temps have been grand, I can't rate the Inkbird temp controller any higher, as the tent sits in the garage, inside a little room I built - the temps out there fluctuate a fair bit and it can get really cold, this gadget has kept it very stable out there.
Temps: 22 to 26
Res temp: 22
E.C in res: 1.8 - today I switched the tank to bloom nutes.
RH: 50-60%

Full tent - was a tad leafy foe my likings so gave them all a little haircut today, and got rid of some of the stalks that will not amount to much.

The Jack was being hand fed for the last few days, and that stopped yesterday - for no reason other than I really cant be arsed and it is at the end.
Recap - started well, I stopped watering it to let it die to make way for others, others sucked, so started watering it again, was off the res for ages and had to make do with some wicking to see it through whilst I was away - so overall, underfed, under watered, overfed, dried out....but she will for sure give me a few nice doobs. You can see she looks like she has been beaten, all the leaves are horrible - but, all things considered, she smells amazing, a fresh citrusy start finishing with a long lasting musky note, her nugs are tiny but rock solid.

Thrichs probably a little over where I would normally chop, but I have been tied up giving soil a go.

0063A57B-B943-4435-8E33-D34CC6F13204.jpeg

SBAK1 - she just wont stop growing, I really like her structure, and the way she grows, so wide, with the side branches that I have not bent down as tall as the top. A faint kushy smell is coming through - I get the feeling she will really bulk out during flower and give out some nice smokes. You can see she has two levels, the top half which is untouched, and the bottom half which has been tied down - all this playing around may work on this because how long her sides are, the lower canopy is getting a decent dose of unobstructed light.

D03E9D63-BBC0-43EF-8FF3-6AC21D412465.jpeg

SBAK2, this has been the strongest plant throughout this grow, she just keeps horsing on - got to love it when they do that. As with her sister, she is really going for it still, I have refrained from pulling and bending but I have removed a few leaves. As she has been tied a fair bit, she is running a little behind the other - I would say around a week, this could also be because she is a different pheno in feel.

CDLCxFS - since she started working properly she has not missed a beat, really growing nicely, taking the same nutes as the more mature plants and drinking it up. mini branches everywhere, have tucked and cut to expose as many as possible as I doubt she will grow large due to her crappy start.

All in all, I would say its jolly good.

Cheerio and take care

Day 5 in soil
On this fine Sunday morn, I bid you all a good day!

the new set up is pretty much there, I added a phreshV2 150mm fan and a carboair60 filter, using phonic ducting. It annoyed me with the noise so I made a silencer - and I tell you what - it has reduced the noise by more than half, now I cannot hear anything coming out of the room at full pelt. It looks so it and takes up an ungodly amount of space but by Jove it works!
The Tent is now for this run a Sawney bean run in soil and living soil. There will be one CBD plant as well to keep sticks up.

All new, all fun and games - and please do help - I have no idea about soil - it feels weird doing nothing….
Cheers
