Indoor Zaaboot has gone to pot 2022 auto spree

Good call m8.. it may be as simple as they want/need more of a wet/dry cycle than the Blumats are giving.. If reducing the flow to your carrots doesn't work i'd turn the Nugz ones off/disconnect them completely (if poss.. dont know anything about Blumats!) and let your pots dry out for 24/36 hours to see if the wee ladies pick up with that dry out.. and if so then safe to conclude that the Nugz roots want more oxygen around them more often than the flow from your Blumats is allowing?? I'm guessing that was probably your next step anyway if the flow reduction doesnt work.. hope they pick up for ya
that's a good shout, I can turn the cap to off without affecting the others (they all feed of the same single line), if this 24hr drier period doesn't sort it, 24 without will be my next attempt

Cheers

Are the elevated so there is airflow under the pots? Can't remember if they are in fabric or plastic but I've found that some do better with a bit of extra airflow from below.

hey Suki, thanks for the note, that is something I have not considered...once again, I have for many moons grown in Coco and pebbles, so they get watered and watered and it is all good airflow etc...
This soil business is throwing me off a here and there. Even the Wilma pots I use are 18ltr plastic, I have drilled them to the point of swiss cheese, for some reason when starting the soil grow, I left the plastic pots as they were - so plastic pots sitting in saucers for some plants, fabric pots for others, and 1 massive airpot. That is definately something I can do though, I will place a grill under the two plants that are wilty.
Hopefuly and thanks to everyone this is teh trick:
- Reduced water, possibility to bring to a stop for total dry period (observe over next 24hrs)
- No more defoliation on the affected plants
- Increase airflow, add a grill under the pots and above the saucers (maybe add some more worms??)

Fingers crossed

Oh, follow up question! Are you using any sort of surfactant when you water? Yucca is most commonly used, but I really like this one. Its pricey though, but lasts a good long while as its only 1/8ts per gal.

If your not using a wetting agent you may possibly have wet/dry pockets.

Never tried anything like that - I will check out the link

Still a tad droopy
But the others are looking grand. Will wait for the full 24hrs before turning the water or completely for 24

Yay - going to get the bondage kit out tomorrow and man handle the Predator, she is lovely, her side branching is the same height as the top, so I am going to tie the lot down and open her right up

SBAK Day 70 or maybe 72
I spent all morning cleaning them up, must have taken in excess of 150 leaves - and guess what? Looks like nothing has happened.
They are looking too top, bit of a Calmag issue which I addressed this morning with an additional dose. The amount the three of them are drinking is nuts - another 18.9 liters addedtoday after the two bottles added a couple of days back and I will add another one for good measure later today. Temps are solid and RH is floating upwards a touch so I have increased the ambient in the room to 25 to keep the RH in check.

SBAK one has until Monday night, this is a bit early I would say but she is fattening up very nicely indeed.
SBAK2 is a trooper, she stretched like mad and now is just working on joining up the dots up each branch to make nice king fat colas!
CDLCxFS is the same, all cleaned and trimmed, very sugary for such an early age, she will not get as fat as either the SBAK but I am sure she will try her best. The super cropped branch on her looks nice - all buds standing to attention along a flat lying branch

full tent - before and after defoliation…

Sawney’s tent
So quick update - the two Nugz are still drowning in their soil and have not perked up, their water has been completely turned off and the soil is notably drier, better news tomorrow me hopes!

Some snaps before I get started on the Predator

When the Nugz recover I shall post them up individually again

All in all, it is nearly working - thanks to the help from one and all, it certainly feels like there is a grow on - the floor should disappear soon

cheers

Plants are awsome dude. The nugz are just bad at bouncing back once shit happens. Sorry mate. Small plants with attitude.
