For some reason the BB's leaves came out before its tap root !

I found the LED i will go with, a UK company called GrowNorthern make them and the build quality is good as well as the growing results.
I won't buy it until we move house and i have more room, i need more height in my growspace to accomodate for the extra distance needed by LED vs CFL.
For this final CFL grow i will do something i've not yet tried - a vegging light during the vegging period !
I just ordered the vegging equivalent of my flowering CFL, in fact it's more powerful, it's a 300W model with a few thousand extra lumens.
The fact that most strains i've grown (not including my failures !) have been weak smokes (apart from a couple of DP strains and some AKR) is bothering me, and i'm wondering if a vegging light will make a difference.
From what i've read potency is all in the genetics and nothing to do with the lighting, so if you have enough light to bring the thing to flower it should be a good smoke.
Maybe i'm drying it too quickly. The buds are really solid as they grow but thin out a little bit when they dry :

That last crop took nearly two weeks to dry so that's not too fast for a small plant is it ?
I know other people have had good smokes using CFL from some strains i haven't had such good luck with so it's not the strains, perhaps just bad luck ?
Anyway i'd like to figure it out for this last grow that's why i've ordered the vegging light, so that i have done all i can think of correctly.
