Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

Wish I had @Jc420bigbud and @slowandeasy eyes ..... Doing the best I can with tools I have

Bad weather so no work today, yea I get to play .....

Thanks slow ..... as I ”grow along” I’m getting more confidence and the plant is becoming more simplistic in my mind .....

As for airflow, no sure if you checked pics but I have five fans in the tent so airflow is good but perhaps improved by removing leaves, however, I believe the leaves should remain as they still provide some function such as food and some photosynthesis but based on your experience / knowledge I did remove a half dozen last night and will pull a few more as I get a little more comfortable with the idea - I am pulling just the leaf leaf and leaving entire stem as I do understand the food remaining and no damage to stalk, which loops me back around to leaving the leaves but my mind is open and I always appreciate your advise .....

The light I am running is only 180 watts for 10.25 sq feet, perhaps is a little under power but all seems well and growth seems fine and I’m getting some stretch and good side formation -..... Light is by Green Sunshine Company ES 180, a flat panel light thus it doesn’t have focus a COB does and spreads light more evenly and the light is adjustable PLUS and this is huge, no eye protection needed it’s a white light but I’d do wear sunglasses anyways but the white light is really pleasing on the eyes and Old Boy knows that for sure .... For sure I like the color and ease of seeing ..... I also watched a video after I purchased and they talked about the extra red light spectrum so we will see how buds stack up ...... The ES180 was part of original plan but I moved the light out of the tent and went to COBs which may of been a goof ......

I expect White Crack to be a monster and Sour Livers seems to be starting to stack .....

Sour Livers Top Dressing has been steadily going down - perhaps later today I’ll top dress again and this time I’ll add some EWC - more Worms - plus some Kashi, straw and I’ll mix in some Oly Compost - Worms love Oly slow - you should invest in a bag if you have worms along with some BuildaBud by BAS, I like diversity in my mulch - which reminds me a little kelp in there too!

Peace,
MOB

Picture was taken with No Flash just Light form ES180 - Beautiful spread and color - easy on the eyes for sure

Leaves in the shade provide little to no photosynthesis. I know you have lots of fans and have good airflow in the tent, but useless leaves are useless leaves. Like I said it isnt a huge deal or even bad, but in time you will see that you will feel more comfortable with plucking. Moderation is the key. I personally like to look at my own pics and see whats in the shade. It helps point out useless foliage. Peace, slow

Btw, when you check Trichs make sure to look at the top buds first. Many times fully exposed buds tend to finish faster than the middle and lower buds. So I check multiple spots on each plant. By looking at your pics it looks like you used lower buds to check. I personally see a lot of cloudy, but no amber. Peace, slow

Thinking tough to get pic with tent closed ......

The ES180 light throws out pretty even and penetrates well plus add in the side wall reflections that don’t show with open tent so there is more light hitting lowers than pic shows ..... but I will clean up SL per suggestion but WC looks good, I did remove a few from her last nite .... Thanks slow.

Cloudy, thats what I’m seeing ...... Will have Sunday off, so I might just chop some tops just for kicks, especially with WC and SL coming along nicely - these girls will end my grow for now and my next grow will be in a few months that I have a special seed i will be sowing .....

No those buds were pretty much top and on 24K I have no choice but tops unless I remove wall, which ain’t easy.

Cool man. The reason 24 Carat didnt yellow up fast is because of the lighting. It looked pretty dim and it had a larger space. The same plant under more intense light most likely would have been done by now. It is a good thing you moved the other ones to that area. You will be able to let them finish slower if you desire. WC and SL looking good, I like your light. Good wor, peace slow

24K is under a dimmable light with lots of ceiling height so yea much slower growth rate ..... Goldie and NUGS are still under COB but I now have 100” of ceiling height so light is way up there ..... In hindsight, which is always 20/20, I should of used just one 100 watt light for the two verses two lights ...... Anyways I’m expecting better results with the dimmable ES180 and can’t wait to taste WC - your WC grow / description has my mouth watering!

@slowandeasy so I’m looking at WC and SL and thinking they are stretching well ..... so then I remember the ES Light video and the owner talking about the far red spectrum and how the ES180 has some far red light built into their spectrum so anyways I’m watching a youtube video and up pops this Professor talking about Far Red light and studies they have done with lots of control plants ..... I found the results interesting and thought you might as well - especially the last 3 minutes - which helped me understand better why these plants are stretching nicely ..... Here is the link:

Sour Lovers Day 68-69 she is very close ..... Mephisto says 65-70 days and 60-90 grams - I see 3oz pretty easy, at least I hope - buds are dense and weight may surprise and we will be more like 72-75 days I’m thinking.
