Thinking by this weekend 24k should be done, I’m watching the water uptake and leaves dying as well ..... and 24K can even remains little longer if necessary........

My buddy was suppose to take WC but his house isn’t ready so I’ll need some room soon -so Goldie is older than NUGS so she will be next so WC can have her spot - I might even do partial harvest on Goldie ..... Everything is day by day now ..... if I do decided to keep Goldie longer she will get moved into open room with COB ..... as WC looks to be a nice plant and I expect nice yield from her and I know WC is fire so that’s my new VIP Girl ....

Nugs might go two more weeks - I just know I’m getting close, yea!

If you want to take Nugs 2 more weeks, keep lights high or dimmed if possible. I dont see her lasting 2 weeks under intense light, she has started to yellow rather fast. I do believe she does need more tha a week by the looks of the calayxes, but just make sure you keep an close eye on the lighting so she doest crisp up. That is why I suggest 3 days of darkness when you feel she is ready, it helps build trichs and avoids intense light at the end of its life. . Peace, s

i like to let all the pistils die off n wait for calyxs to swell sufficiently.. ive had to go well over recommended finish times (2-3 weeks) generally, to get 90% milky n a bit of amber..waiting is the worst part.. i guess better technique may hasten a proper finish.. but hell i need more room, my double grape is a monster..!! at this rate the soil may run out of steam.. ive amended with 1/4 cup craft blend and a bit of grokashi twice in the last couple weeks, so i hope it kicks in soon! lool.. didnt realize dub grape got so tall!

Yea, Double Grape grows like a corn stalk. Tall and skinny. Great strain, but it does get tall. It is similar structure as Sour Stomper. Dont bother to train her horizontally. You will waste space. Best grown naturally, leaf tucking and minimal training is required. Double Grape is very frosty and looks great and is totally not Grape smelling at all! I love that strain, hate the name. If you are gonna name a strain Double Grape, it should smell like grapes...but none of mine did and I did a bunch. Sour Stomper has an Artificial Grape smelling pheno, its awesome
But Double Grape actually has very low odor at all, and surely not grape smelling. You should have a high quality end product. Its typically very frosty. Peacex slow

Dang your right she is older, this weekend, maybe before ill chop - might just let her well go dry and cut light in a few days ..... as for the light over NUGS it is pinned to the ceiling and non dimmable - 100 watt COB - mounted over on the side at this point so plant is not directly under ..... i got no more control left - next grow will be with dimmable light, lesson learned.

Hey, its ok to let her well go dry. But dont let it go so dry under the intense lights that it starts to effect the leaves. When you have no water under an intense COB, sometimes it can crisp up leaves quicker than you expect. If she sits in the dark with no water it is not a big deal, but the spotlight effect of cobs can make a thirsty plant yellow or even burn if you are not careful. I highly suggest a dimmer on any Cobs running 100 Watts or more each. 55W is strong enough for cobs, without having to turn down. A single cob running 100 watts in a small tent at the end of a plants life can be excessive. Peace, slow

Sour Livers 35 days and white Crack 28 days are both doing well with WC starting to flower

I am super pumped about WC - this girl in an original would get huge .....

WC was to be my buddies girl but the Closing on the house got put back two weeks and we discovered more work than originally thought so I will finish her - think I’ll start a sour livers for him to toy with - he has zero grow experience so it should prove interesting- I might do a Journal just for his girl.

Decided this AM to switch things up some ..... Moving NUGS and Goldie into open area where I can hang lights high off the ceiling and moving WC and SL into my “Big” not so big tent - it’s 28.75 by 53” with 80” ceiling .... i will be using an adjustable 180 watt Electric Sky Light, same light they are growing under right now ......

Nugs and Goldie will be able to stay as long as they want and WC and SL will enjoy the extra room.

Goldie and NUGS got moved into a corner spot near 24K ..... They can stay as long as necessary - Temps are 74 at base of plant with 45 RH so not bad and light is hanging high above

That will allow them to go longer. However I get the vibe that you dont check Trichomes. Honestly, you are flying in the dark without looking....I highly suggest you grab a scope and start looking at the trichomes to get an idea of where they are by their appperance. You might even see a bunch of Amber on 24 Carat, I have s feeling she is done. Peace, slow
