Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

24K is under a dimmable light with lots of ceiling height so yea much slower growth rate ..... Goldie and NUGS are still under COB but I now have 100” of ceiling height so light is way up there ..... In hindsight, which is always 20/20, I should of used just one 100 watt light for the two verses two lights ...... Anyways I’m expecting better results with the dimmable ES180 and can’t wait to taste WC - your WC grow / description has my mouth watering!
Yeah buddy! But 1 cob is not the right spread for a 2x4. 2 Cobs running 50nwatts each is a better spread and not nearly as strong in a small space. Your new light looks nice. Peace, slow

Sour Livers received more top dressing last night ..... We have straw, EWC from bin and a few worms and a few dry amendments such as Kashi, rock dust, some bat guano, master craft and a little kelp all mixed together and placed on top - straw was damp and after mixing up I sprayed the mixture and then applied ..... Was nice to see the worms were working the top dressing ...... @slowandeasy note the double cap - the second cap is for an original and you are correct - the red covers are more durable .....

Hey MOB, I always notice that your straw looks really wet. Are you watering that down or something? I dont have worms yet, so straw isnt needed. But need to know the process for when I grab some. You add a lot of top dressing! How long will that last? Nice progress on your plants. Have s good one, slow

Thanks slow ....... appreciate the kind words .....

Straw is wet - I soak straw in water, drain and squeeze dry and then into double plastic bag and it sits in basement - when I pull from bag I try to get the nastiest darkest pieces and then I’ll add kelp and few other dry amendments and Oly compost and some EWC and worms from bin - I then spray mist just to get dry amendments damp and mix well, except worms, they go in last .....

I am surprised you haven’t found any worms in your Juniors, the castings must not have live eggs in them - or - no food in Junior which I suspect is the case ..... understand there are different type of worms and you want composting worms which eat rotting decay matter - you need to add that decay matter to your bin and for my box that is straw and Oly fish compost, dry amendments and sometimes ground soaked leaves but that comes with issues so for you I recommend Oly Fish and aged straw and amendments ..... I get my straw from feed store by the bale for $6 - I get 20 or so a year for my yard and garden so it is natural for me to have but you can order straw, aged with micro life from BAS as well .... or get a bail and use most in garden and some on plants .....

Wife checked with scope and most trics are clear except, get this, NUGS which had some amber and- a wee little on 24k but Goldie was all clear ...... Goldie and 24k are 70+ days old and NUGS is 65 days+.

Peace,
MOB

My only question would be someone had me water using those mosquito dunk things so prob some lil pieces in drain tray so will it hurt these lil guys or they’ll be fine?? Seems like if kills larvae would kill them but I’m no nematode expert! :thanks:
