I don’t have alfalfa meal so I’ll get that in pellets from feed store!! U said tis cheaper that way correct?? Anything else I should need/grab while there?? Already have oyster shell flower so set on that for now!

Pellets I use pellets outside and have to grind to use inside or in a bin .... I get 50 lb bag but ......

Look around - you can get lots of different things there including something for the indoor grow room itself, not food but things like comtainers or snips, lots of stuff, thermometers, etc .... Pretty much any grain you can think of - Purina worm chow for worm bin - might have to order but they can get, if you go a worm bin route - highly advisable btw - just look around - take your time - wonder into the bulk bag area if you can .... you’ll be surprised - I get garden tools, brooms, seeds, gas cans - lots of cool stuff in those type of stores.

Sour Livers - She is a small girl but healthy, have done just a little LST and few have a few good sites forming - will see how this one grows - Each Strain seems to have its own features .... Love checking out different strains, so much better than the “Street” - I’ve been Dealer Free all of 2019 and couple months in 2018 so going on 14 months of my own ... absolutely loving it - I liked to grow anyways and now this, super cool .... So glad I discovered AFN and Autos.

Sour livers looks good, MOB. I agree with you about the joy of being self sufficient. I am kicking myself for not doing it years earlier. for too long I thought that growing good weed was a mystical gift bestowed on a select few. Damn.

I wanted to but public job prevented - no way could I risk my livelihood but I had a really solid guy but for 36 years I was hiding but now retired - no worries but either way it is so nice doing your own thing - wonderful ..... Anyways you got it nailed now, all is good, happy for you and all.

Don’t skimp on the 80 shakes. The very first time I made it, I got to 40 and quit. Things didn’t happen very quick.
For me it’s key to put the bottle in a real warm spot. I set it next to the heater. Low temps make it take for ever to finish. It’s great stuff, very useful for lots of things.

I am glad I only used the castings my local shop gave me once inside tea and tossed it when done cuz when he said had beneficial insects but wasn’t sure what kind I kinda didn’t trust putting the castings on my plants! Thank the lord I didn’t cuz when I stopped by there yesterday he had his worm bins outta the shop and in his other store he uses for storage! Asked what was up and he said was totally overrun with gnats and fruit flys! Do u get fruit flys in your bin MoB?

I have gotten occasional fruit flies, especially when I first started raising worms and when I neglect to follow these simple guideline::

Failed to keep my bin closed
Added to too many vegetable scraps at one time
Failed to bury scraps or cover with a wet cloth rag - I use 100% cotton rags and worms eat the rag, btw
Had too much moisture - worms tail will turn yellow as well
Failed to add enough brown matter like leaf

Adding brown matter and keeping bin closed should eliminate the devils

If I follow the guidelines, no issues

Sounds like your guy needs some brown shredded aged leaf matter and make sure bins are covered and watch moisture level

Worm Castings are rich in plant food and a must use for my grow ....

Problems are just a puzzle waiting to be solved by a solution!
