Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

U talking the straw at pet stores sold as cage liner stuff/ maybe even feed sometimes for like rabbits  or since what I saw was lil expensive for size (esp compared to B.A.S.prices and they do free shipping on size if need) but if I grab from feed store should I have to worry about bugs if I get the staff that’s pressed and in plastic wrap? I don’t mind ordering from BAS and waiting couple days shipping if there’s is bug free compared to bales at feed store? Thanks amigoS:smoking:

Never had issues with feed store and I get a ton each year for garden so I’m not likely to spend money on a repackage material other than to know it is safe but then I have plastic covers and do inspect the straw in basement but for guarantee get from BAS - believe they even have some that is inoculated so that’s cool, on aging required ..... such a high value crop, best to be safe my friend in your case.

Ya I’ll go BAS for this so I have some and I’ll get extra and make sure it’s bagged up tight so no bugs get in! Not like it’ll go bad! Cu ft from there says 6-10 plants so can do 2-3+ mulching layers onto my plants so will give me enough thru harvest of em! For the craft blend should I topdress it or put in tea with (if yes with or without Malibu compost) or both: brew in tea and topdress what comes out the teabag (compost and the pieces of craft blend still in pouch? And Malibu stuff should I do like I saw in video and mix compost with lil water to make slurry and apply like cow turds over those clovers still trying to survive??

Guess I had too much coffee or something is loose in my head but I wanna go back to Organics and LOS Growing - I want the world to stop using bottled nutrients- stop filling our landfills with trash ....

sorry if I offend anyone but I really can’t help myself - “we need to leave some blue up above us and leave some green on the ground - it’s only ours to borrow so let’s leave some for tomorrow, take some and pass it around” - oak ridge boys ....

You can be a complete plant idiot and still grow beautiful plants ..... Neither of these outdoor plants got any dry or bottle fertilizer- Ground has always been mulched with various types of mulch, in this case ground bark but that will change next year as we add a different mulch - you want variety but imagine these were your favorite plants ..... as I posted earlier make mine mulch, mulch and more mulch - you can’t argue with these results, Mother Nature and the Plant know what to do, don’t get in their way - rather protect and feed the soil / worms and the rest will happen naturally ....

Imagine this being bud sites on our favorite plant ....

How about a bud the size of this squash - look at the heathy glossy leafs - Organics absolutely Rock

Never knew this thread is so popular when I chimed in. Nice to know I’m among the cool boys! LOL

@slowandeasy If you are not annoyed to hell by me yet lol can I ask how long to veg a photo plant in a 5 gal fabric pot?
Depends on how big you want it. Longer the veg, the bigger the plant. 2 to 4 weeks is a good range. Strain dependant

What I doing with my next girl is three top dressings - perhaps four but fourth would be just straw and Kashi ....

Top Dress and prepared soil let that sit a 10-14 days with mulch and worms working ...... I used BAS 3.0 Soil and added Couple tablespoons craft blend and go Kashi and rock dust

Top Dress at transplant time added more mulch-and go Kashi and sprinkled in a different rock dust - no craft blend

Next top dress will come day 25ish and that will include 3 cleaned and ground fine egg shells, straw and go Kashi and bat guano - maybe a sprinkle of craft blend not sure depends on how she looks - with a water only mix the first time thru craft blend not necessary for autos I feel but still learning myself.

Best,
MOB

U do egg shells cuz the worms eat them correct? I’m going to check now to see what all I have from getting tea n soil ingredients! And do u do the rock dust to help digest the worms food or do they serve separate purpose? I use calphos (calcium soft rock phosphate) for the fungi to brew on in compost teas so adds calcium and phosphate with each brewed tea they get! I noticed some tea recipes ask for amino acids and/or humid acid! Is there anything diff with growing organic that serves same purpose (not sure if that’s how to explain it) but most peeps that posted tea info were talking about their nute line so figured they r giving bottles stuff too! Also is their the micro nutrients and stuff inside craft blend where I don’t need to order like their Big6+humic acid they sell....or should I?? Just wanna check before I check out on BAS site?? :thanks:

Egg shells provide calcium - we compost our shells, tea bags, coffee grounds, banana peels etc outside but when flowers starting to form on my tomato plants I toss half dozen shells into a blender, add some water and make a purée and spread around the plant - egg shells provide calcium which prevents blossom end rot in tomatoes so I do egg shells for calcium they provide - be sure to clean yoke if using inside - now this next grow I will be adding clean and crushed shells around day 20-25 when I do top dressing .... not so much for the worms but for the calcium ....

Rock Dust serves couple purposes, provides mineral for the plants and yes help worms digest .....

As for teas I haven’t messed with them much so not much comment or experience - I have made a few but outdoors gardening I’m talking .... hope this helps a little.

These are what I have besides that craft blend! :smoking: I have both em1 bokashi & growkashi, recharge and SLF100! Loaded on microbe options! Here’s dry ingredients

A9D54945-9DC6-44AC-A32B-770B4775B5CF.jpeg Added that cuz box is 0-11-0 seabird guano and think the bag with no label is glacial or volcanic rock dust! Pretty positive glacial but anyone who can tell me best way to mix whatever up (even if just for teas etc) please share! From calphos Ca going in 2-3 from teas plus oyster shell flour in soil mix should be set kn calcium! My only thing is Double Grape is looking great aside from a few mutation points :yoinks: but some satellites splitting off 3 leafs/ future bud spots on 1 lower and another was really thick n almost size of stem til it bulked up but it now keeps merging into 2 separate satellites towards the end 2/3 and noticed each of them were splitting in half as well! Quite strange! Ok kinda rambled but point in the end is Pink Panama is in bought soil so not sure what ratio of ingredients came cuz never ran it water only before....always used nectar for the gods! It’s the 1 I am thinking may need a nutrient/mineral bump but not sure if a special amino acid or humic or fulvic acid (or just bio-ag ful power stuff) but making order tonight so if I need that big6+ from BAS let me know! If a waste let me know sooner! :pass:
image.jpg There u can see the merge into 2 satellites both growing 3 leafs of each of their end/top if u look! 2 sideways like normal plus 1 straight back! Some spots actually have full 3 EXTRA leafs all growing side by side on backside of stem! Weirdness. This is my double grape day 32ish in 1st “TRUE” full Organics from sprout to now....& beyond of course! :eyebrows:
image.jpg 1st plant au natural for me! Seems like perfect branch structure for when flower starts! Maybe trim couple fans and all sites will bask in the light! Oh duh  this is the plant in my 1st homemade soil mixed from scratch/baked 10 or so days til had mad mycelium n mushroom activity on the surface! Seems like this plants loving it!
image.jpg She’s a giant beast! Gonna need some bamboo for flowering! Or a net from top of tent and bunch of plant yo-yos! Both do get tons of surface activity on soil with the pieces of plant/root from clovers decomposing with that Malibu compost is nice!
image.jpg That’s the family of 4 that have all been water only plus teas! Other 2 still on nectar! Thanks for any other pointers on what ingredients I still need to buy so I’m stocked on all or if the stuff at top I talked about “an hour ago SORRY” but if I need or don’t plz lemme know! Thx

So was lost in that giant story so short version....
Do I need to get either humic or fulvic acid (or bio-ag’s FulPower stuff (mix of both humic/fulvic)? Most teas I see ask for 1 or both of those! And do I need the main 6 (BAS calls it big6+humic acid) but do I need those things still u think?? Thanks and sorry was so long-winded last post for short lil question?
