Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

There’s actually a place by me called TxWormRanch that raises and sells them n only a 30min drive to pick em up! No abusing them with shipping! Just need to place order 24hrs in advance! Any advice on how many to get to start? I know they multiply fast once established and well cared for so don’t need a ton! :thanks:

Oh also my stoner brain was working for a change!! So I can give them air holes AND NOT WORRY ABOUT FRUIT FLIES I decided I can drill holes and then put some strips of window screen type material over the holes so they get air but no flies or unwanted pests can invade their home! Don’t wanna add pests into the mix since I grow in my bedroom!

:thanks:

Dang, there you go - now your cooking with gas ......:smoking:

make a good bedding - feed them and they will be happy - lots of info on YouTube - get the red Wigglers, they eat a ton ...... Just get bedrun and a small batch, Shop eBay maybe or go to https://shop.speedyworm.com/composting-worms-p6.aspx

Good luck, worms are the worlds best gardeners, hands down! :shooty:
Hey MOB, i saw the link to the worms and was wondering approx how much you added o your Juniors? $40 for 1000 worms. Just curious how far the $40 goes? You know I cant do a worm bin here, but one cant deny that they would be benefical. I really didnt want to get into worms, because I cant keep a bin. But I would be lying if I said I was not curious on how much help they might provide? I know you add straw and Kashi, but how often? You might sucker this old man into trying a couple Juniors with worms.

I don’t really have a spot to keep worms other than my office but for $40 plus cheap tote figured may give it a try! If it’s more work than I imagine since I’ll have to move it when I move soon then I can give them their freedom and start again! $40 is cheaper than any bottled nutrients around and they don’t last very long so taking the plunge!

I just need an the earthbox n he was outta growkashi at local shop but have em1, huge bag of malibu compost already (traded the oly since wasn’t sure if I could use in brewing teas! Have a couple plants finishing using nftg nutes so needed to be able to add a K heavy feed for em! The lil plants without nutes got a nutrient cycling tea yesterday n seemed to really go. Even damn cover crop growing in like a damn field! Having it does def help to keep soil texture nice n moist so doesn’t get dry n crusty! Didn’t expect it so thick I couldn’t see the soil surface but hey live n learn! Glad I posted here so I can keep following going forward! Y’all have converted me n keep sharing the benefits of no bottled nutes! Think I saved myself going grey/bald before 40 swapping to plain water feeds! :yoinks: Was expecting to need craft blend stuff on 1 or other mephisto ladies since 1 in that pumpkin soil n double grape in stuff I made up! Superglad I made the switch!
:worship: U da man!

Appreciate that :thanks: But to be honest, I‘m learning as I grow - Srill trying to get tents and especially lights all dialed in .... and right now I’m in the grow mode for survival- hehehe ..... That’s why I haven’t done much with teas and the likes .....

I am super excited for ya, super excited bro :cooldance:.....

You will love the quality and the smells seem better as well, I have an old empty jar that has some prior NUGS in it and it still to this day is great .....

Pumpkin Soil vs Homemade - how are they comparing?

Craft Blend will do you well - be sure and avoid any around the stem and immediate area - like to ring around outside .....

Best grow to you bro!

Glad u said that cuz was looking at craft blend stuff til I realized I had most the ingredients from making my soil! I’ll go ahead and grab some tho since small bag is lb’s of it for $15 n free shipping! Cheap for some good stuff! Plus luckily I just potted up whole solo cup when I transplanted so I can just sprinkle around the outside of that n be good to go! So far both pumpkin and the homemade are at end of 4 weeks and neither is wanting for anything yet! Super green and healthy on both! Actually surprised since 1st go without using nectar for the gods stuff! Still got some but not putting on any new ones n just the 2 at like day 80 in flower that got it from the start! Both are at like 13-15” above pots on day 27 or 28! Been all plain water except recharge or slf100 once a week for extra microbes! Even cover crop is getting outta control it’s growing so crazy! Def a happy camper since making the switch! Glad I found your thread and started reading! Mixing nutes was driving me loco so u gave me the courage to say PEACE OUT to the bottles! :worship:

You don’t need a worm bin, worms could be hatch from eggs in the EWC you get, if you get high quality castings but for the worms I have ......

Those worms came from a few handfuls of compost from my worm bin .... they will breed and grow in the earthbox .....

The minimum pound of worms could do four juniors easy - even eight, they will reproduce in the box - ideal environment for them - you could use box as a bin if you like and reuse soil - there is your bin ....

I can’t speak for differences between worm and non worm grows but outdoors it makes one heck of a difference - I pull a shovel of dirt and when I see 10 worms I have good soil - 20 worms I’ve got great soil, for sure it makes a difference .... AND in the earthbox since it is anaerobic the worms should help the aeration so in theory worms make a difference - more airways, food delivery specialists and they make fertilizer- what’s not to like .... but you’ll grow fine Flippin “onions” in the “box” no matter .... worms are an option not a requirement....

Handfuls of straw, enough to cover the soil - Kashi I do a few spoonfuls, one on each end - sprinkle all over the straw which is usually over compost - when the pole goes down and the worms have eaten the straw, time for more - I might add half cupful of compost between and a sprinkle of Kashi - sorry my brain kinda is scattered on the exact schedule - I just kinds read the worms and see how they are doing and add Kashi or craft blend or and kelp as I think at the time, sorry no real game, I’m kinda reading the worms and plant cycle - for example around day 30 I sprinkled some bat guano on top along with some bud specific compost - and just recently I added more guano and compost, Kashi and straw ....

Hope this helps,
MOB

Def helps me! Way I look at is the Growkashi n stuff will last a good long while with the smallest size bag (same as craft blend stuff) but the cost of nutrients and how much is needed to try to replicate what worms n nature do automatically u get waaaay more return on investment with the organic stuff and in turn can get just as good of results! Win win in my eyes! :woohoo1:

And also so far my local shop just gives me worm castings from his bin so always has both worms but also lots of other beneficial insects from feeding insect frass to the worms! With as little as I use in teas had em almost 3 weeks and still all alive and thriving in the leftover worm poo in the plastic takeout box he gave them to me in! Def good place for being in illegal state
