WIll check it out the resources you mention I have the light already and I bought it for future proofing. Next is a lux meter to make sure I'm not over doing anything.hey hi, thanks for subbing ......
the grobox is well designed but pricey but for sure not no a no till for an LOS Grow I don’t know of any plug play LOS units, sorry .....
The QB light is a great unit but that perhaps is a little much for the space, issue I see is height - But all is not lost have you checked out @Archaic - he grows in a very short space ..... another resource is MIGRO - they have a great knowledge base which includes even plans for a small space grow - might have an idea or two for you ..... https://www.migrolight.com/
Good luck and any questions, just ask.
Peace,
MOB
Hey man, MOB is using Earthbox juniors. One will definitely for in your space with room for a humidifier. I have the same sized space and could fit two, but that wouldn't leave room for anything else.
Have you considered an autopot? A single xl with either fabric pot or the regular may work fine for what you have in mind, although I don't grow organic, so I am not sure how you might make the autopot system work with the nute supply you have in mind. If you can actually go water only, it would work very well, but if you need to add dry supplements during the grow, I am not sure that would work with the sub-irrigation design.
Good luck getting sorted.

By plug and play I meant the SIP units like the grobox and earthbox, if you knew of anything else that would work in my space. I don't really want to DIY a SIP box.
Hmm I saw the measurements on the website at 23" and that wont fit between the tent poles. One side would have to sit on the tent pole whcih would make it uneven. Now that I have wriiten this out I could always raise pot to be eqal hieght with the tent poles and yes it would fit. Funny how I had to ask and then work it out when answering thanks.
Now hopefully I can find them in my country.
I would be top dressing just like MOB is doing in this grow feeding the soil. so dry amendments mixed in with castings straw etc.... they will be water only in the res with EM-1 maybe cocnut water and aloe here and there but I could folier the last two
EarthBox on say two small pieces of 2x4 would work so as to elevate the box up over top of poles - yea box would be flush and bulge sides of tent some but workable - issue would be servicing the box but you could probably work that end of the deal - other option is the five gallon bucket which would easily fit - adding some aloe Vera to the water would increase uptake along with the shower cap and using a heavy peat based soil - avoid BioChar soils as they drain verses wick like peat soils ..... One way or the other it could work ..... amazon has EarthBoxes and many other SIP type containers ......
Reason I made mention of MiGro site was his knowledge base - not the lights - my concern is your height mentioned at 4.5 feet - what is your height - MiGro has some nice plans for stealth grows too ..... good luck!
Thanks for the reply MOB.
I have a whole lot of soil mixed up it's basicly MO & coots recepie from the no till revisited thread they started in GS forum.
I have biochar in my mix but the base is 1/3 CSPM, EWC/Compost, volcanic rock. Would I need to make a whole new mix? I would prefer not to as I have so much soil already to go but if I have to I have to.
I would only grow one at a time in this tent and just give her some lst no need to crowd them in there and have potential other probelms. Thats the good thing with autos and small spaces they are quick so I am okay with 1 at a time 2 would be nice but... where it is is not a place that I can make mess. I cant keep pulling them out from the tent potentially spilling water and soil and top dress everywhere etc.. I can only work within the tent.
I was looking at a storm water pit that would fit nicely in there with a leaf basket looks similar to the insert of the earthbox with holes everywhere and a central basket but it is 18" hieght and 14"x14" all i would have to do is make room for the fill tube and and over flow hole or holes and make a float so i can monitor levels.
Its an option what are you thoughts on this? My country dosen't have earth box and it cots 2x more than the box to send it here
NUGS, middle gal who is about ten days younger than sisters, has almost caught up in height - in full disclosure both sisters have had their colas tied down at different times to encourage lower buds to develop and all three girls are smaller varieties ..... for those just tuning in from left to right

Looking very nice! The one on the far left looks tough kinda like a dog with its hair standing up on its back or a rattle snake ready to strike!Besides growing out of their space all is well - approximately 4 1/2 weeks on GG and 24k and 3+ weeks on NUGS ..... 24K to get moved to new tent soon.

Well it is obvious why your plants stay so bushy. That seedling has ZERO stretch to her! If you want a little height on a girl, back your light up from day 1. Otherwise, keep doing what you are doing. For day 5, she is compact. I often have my lights too far away at first because I have so much going on. When I take down my 7x7, I will have a dedicated seed/clone/mom tent. I am excited to get my stuff reorganized, things will be set up much better for my needs. Nice work, lets see these girls pack on the weight now MOB! Peace, slowSour Livers - 5 days old - she is under a T5 light - will transplant in about a week
