Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

Hey MOB, looking good in there! Love what you are doing with your soil! I have recently taken the plunge and have moved from DWC to LOS, myself. I feel like a new grower again, and am loving it. I have read your Sams crack thread and will be following this one, as well. Pulling up a chair!

keep pushing with the lst also @BakEQ can train plants in a bowl like no one i know they are absolutely amazing hes a master grower anyhow keep up the good work bro and i will keep checking back and thanks for all your kind words

I went to the tent and hung a few more CC - I trained my gal Sam hard but have eased up on these some due to their size but I will lean on them a little more - Now the Strawberry NUGS I am familiar and I got her out of the gate leaf tucking, I wanna see if I can get a good yield - last one only in the 50ish gran range but I absolutely loved her - I still have a jar that I open and smell, 9 months later it still smells so good .... so I’m working hard on her - updated photo from this AM and she grown since this AM, what a sweet looking youngster!

:pass:

Thanks for stopping by ..... Love hearing that - I find going back to Sam’s Journal helps keep me dialed in ....

DWC has always interested me and I know you can kinda do “organic hydro” and i have a DWC setup and some MC1 (anyone want, message me?) actually but I can’t get past the natural organic taste of Sam’s Grow so the DWC setup sits in the corner .....

I truly believe LOS will be the wave of the future, you will see LOS Stores and less hydro stores but that’s just me - I do know some monster plants can be grown hydro - I’ve seen them here on AFN including an absolutely beautiful garden by @St. Tom - I’m in awe of how large a Flippin plant can grow in coco and a discarded pop bottle, I mean unreal and for sure LOS never do that .....

@slowandeasy a very proficient coco grower has made the switch, and now you are loving it, so the movement to LOS is moving forward!

Peace,
MOB

@MrOldBoy you and @slowandeasy are awesome organic growers :clapper: wish I had the skill set to do this mega crop got me hooked LOL

Why THANK YOU for those kind words :toke:

Too Funny Dabber - You have the skill set, it is really easy just ask @slowandeasy .... and if you go with an EarthBox setup like slow did all you do is buy the soil, LOS - fill box and water ..... Yoi can top dress with things like Oly Mountain Fish Compost and for sure add some Mammoth P or EM1 to the water and that’s it .... Water and watch grow ......

You can step up your game and raise your own worms and castings and make teas or add some aloe or coconut flakes to your water but really that’s about it - really easy and no mixing this or that .... some Top dressings but no real everyday I gotta give them this or that ..... When growing LOS you let the plant do her own thing, she knows what she needs and when she needs - your job is to stock the shelves with good food, she really can help herself .....

If really interested I would love to help you set-up / try with just one earthbox - available on Amazon or at earthbox.com - check it out.

Yea I hear ya brother, but you can grow some monsters LOS as well, my gal Sam produced over 12 oz dry - she was a freak but she won first place last spring in the Mephisto Battle and there were experienced hydro growers in that Battle so I wouldn’t hold back on that account - give the EarthBox and LOS a try - not much learning curve - we can setup a thread and I will personally help you thru entire grow, you’ll love the taste, I’m telling you it’s better than hydro, sorry if I offend anyone and that’s my opinion but an opinion shared by many .....

Game on?:shooty:

I’d be on if I had Dabber’s setup and space but soon....LOL

Dabber would grow big girls in any medium. That’s my serious opinion. After using heavy Megacrop prior and going bare minimum this round to the point of only 3 x 500ppm feed in 50+ days, I’m quite confident with going LOS next round. Seems switching from Megacrop to LOS is not that difficult but only one way to find out! Lol

I have to agree with Dabber that Megacrop is great. Looking forward to comparing Megacrop vs LOS grown buds. FYI my outdoor fruit trees have taken 2 Megacrop feedings and is bouncing back very well. In fact, never look healthier. I just throw 30g into a 5 gallon bucket full of water, mix and pour into base. Don’t even ph or ppm or whatever.

Hey @Dabber , I have been growing forever...started with Hydro 22 years ago. Moved to Coco. I still do Coco at my other set ups. But have started to moved to LOS in my personal garden. I have ran so many nutes, some better than others. I had a huge sack of Mega Crop and once it moved to Version 2 I stopped using it. I dont care for the V2. Green Planet nutes work well for Coco, I use them on my coco gals.

I never wanted to do Soil because of pests and lower yields than my coco plants. But the earthboxes keep potential pests out and now Organics compare with hydro/Coco yields. Sometimes even better yields and better quality! And honestly, my first Organic attempt went ratherr zero intervention. The labor is a fraction of my Coco plants. Thatbalone is huge! You just have to change your methods and thinking a little. Planning ahead is key. Inam enjoying it a lot. I started at the right time, yields are much better now. 2 Decades ago most Organic plants did not yield nearly as much as now.

I use V3 now none gave me any trouble really but I did amend soil with roots organic for extra cal mag. The newest version seems to be on point. I have been thinking of going organic and may do it on my 1st photo out door run in a 65 gallon rain science grow bag, I brew a good tea and love kelp
