Good news thus far
I harvested my 2 coco 4AM's. I was prepared to throw away all the trim and coco because of the thrips but I could not find a single one. I looked pretty dang thoroughly. So the trim will get processed into bubble down the road at some point. They were chunky little girls. Perhaps one of them was a tiny bit early, but it was either harvest or start tying up branches. 96 days is on the high side for 4AM.
The gnat pressure is significantly reduced, perhaps near zero. I put up fresh traps for the first time since sealing off everything, that should let me know where I stand over the next couple days. I think sealing everything up may have done the trick, especially the drain holes.
3 left to go before deep cleaning and next run. 2 Jr's are close, 1-2 weeks. The walter white in the grobucket has been an interesting grow. She started out with very green leaves with some light splotching. Now she is completely lime green (I added a nice layer of neem seed before sealing the top with sand, plus she has had alfalfa and others so don't think it's nitrogen but who knows). She's still putting on weight, so who knows at this point.
I got a bowl trimmer for the popcorn/larf -- love it for that. When you are 4 hours into trimming it's hard not to just chuck everything in there.
Getting time to start planning the next run. I'm actually considering maybe autopots, which would be effectively doubling down on SIP -- lol.
