Mephisto Genetics White Crack and Kis Organics Soil

Hey everyone
@slowandeasy - check out earthbox new “kit” - Probiotic Wellness Garden - basically it includes some EM1, Compost and Kashi

https://earthbox.com/probiotic-wellness-garden-system

I would not spend that kind of money with earthbox for the kit - but it is basically all you need for a complete grow
Cool brother, good to know. I was gonna mention that I top dressed a few plants today. It was a little less than 2 weeks since the first one. Anyways, I saw a lot of new nice root growth up into the new top. I actually went ahead and made 10 baggies of Top dress/Craft Blend this morning. I mixed them good in each baggie and I used a baggie or 2 per Junior. So I have a few Baggies ready to top dress my Photo clones and flio them as soon as I set the new tent up. I recieved it, however I need to make room for it and ckean out the okd one and remove it. I also need to get my smaller new ones, so I can start my rotation right from the start. I have the 5 seedlings ro transplant in a week and my 4 clones have nice roots now! Btw, that soil mix works great for cloning! I will be taking 8 more clones tonight. I will be keeping 2 moms for now. I have a seperate tent for them. I take 2 clones for each Junior and have 100% success rate.

Wanted to throw a few pics of the Diesel Cookies bud. I didnt keep up with that thread. Will add there too. She turned a nice purple and stinkys very nicely!

I always, well most always, spread a pinch of Kashi over any top dressings - Kashi helps get the micro life going ......

Did you use EWC or compost along with the dry amendments? I absolutely love and so do the worms love Oly Mountain Fish Compost for top dressing.

Borrow wife’s or is that your new phone / camera - good pics - dang those look sticky - How is they do compared to Mephisto? How was yield?
Hey MOB, it is not super fair to compare yet. The Diesel Cookies was under a Broken Cob, that was not fully light for 1/2 its life. So yield is lower looking on this one than White Crack. However, the quality is very high. The 2 Roc Bud Inc strains got taller than White Crack, but I didnt train the same. I am really happy with the quality. Yield will improve next round I do it. FWIW, I have a Grape Rolex that was Top dressed 2x now and it is looking and smelling top notch and it has 4+ weeks to go by the age/looks. I see a difference in bud developement speed vs without top dressing. I ordered Coconut water flakes, which is supposed to help with flowering faster/better as well. Worth a shot. I will grab some Kashi from Amazon. How much Oly Fish compost do you use when top.dressing and how often? I have craft blend and Flower top dressing scheduled every 2 weeks now. I will add Thanks, how much do good Organic Onions go for around you now? It is really good some Kashi weekly. I will try a tea, like Earthbox examplw you showed in future. Seems like Kashi helps speed things up? Worth a shot. Thanks for the advice, peace slow

Hey @slowandeasy - Organic Onions - good question I don’t know as we still have a few from the garden but I’ll have wife check ..... Yield will go up for sure with experience- Same for me as I figure out this indoor lighting - I am of the opinion that single cobs work best when plants are different varieties- i am finding different strains like different amount of light NUGS and 24k for sure not as much as Goldie - I’ll get it figured out after a few more grows ....

Not sure why WC took longer than anticipated and not sure Kashi would quicken up things but do be careful, not too much - remember the soil is suppose to complete a photo grow, my top dressings are usually done to feed the worms and I don’t use much dry except Kashi and some Craft Blend and Kelp - I’ll add kelp more often than Craft Blend ..... I think with WC a top dressing around 25-30 days and some Kashi would of helped for sure along with EM1 and / or Mammoth P would of made a difference .....

Oly Fish Compost you can get on amazon too, freight is killer as usual but I truly think it is worth it - worms love it - so I am stoked I’m telling you I’ve never seen them go nuts like this on a top dress - there were more on top but once cap comes off down they go but still look at these guys all over it - these guys are making fertilizer for the girls ..... I add about six ounces per side so 12 oz total per dress - no Kashi as I wanted to see what Oly Fish did by itself - results were amazing - I’m pumped ....

So week later I added some aged straw - I have a bag full of straw that been wet and aging for awhile so I grabbed some and sprinkled on top of Oly and added some Kashi and I got this going - note Kashi on top - more castings - more good organic fertilizer in the making - now I’m really pumped

I do like the drench and will try but not on these girls - I have about a 3-4 week supply from the summer outdoor we did - my buddy has other half so my take was - well only half so I need these girls to finish good doing what I know works .....

Slow always a pleasure to talk with you - told you that over a year ago and it still holds today. :pighug:

Peace my Brother,

Cool brother! I meant Organic Oz., not real Onions. Hahaha

My Guy has LOS Grown and it was $50 zip more than standard and he always ran out of it first as well - he would limit me too as he did others ..... Haven’t seen him now in over a year bro but chatted with him over the Holidays and we talked about that very thing, he says his guy is ramping up due to demand for his onions!

Our state has changed so much that the prices for good normal Onions is only $100-$150 per onion and Good LOS is $150-$200 per onion. So $50 more here too. But the difference is most peoples Organic onions around here look like "Sativa Larf" according to my good friend that blows glass. They have a running joke about it. Because people roll thru and their Organic buds have no density and are lower quality than NonOrganically grown buds. If you can grow quality LOS buds the demand is higher, and supply is lower. With leagalization the Quality is what seperates things in the long run. I predict I will have a higher demand for LOS than my Coco crops. I have my rotation started. 2 new Juniors every 2 weeks. I have a great cycle and plan to follow for rotation now with my new tents set up for it perfectly. Excited for the next few months, I have nothing but optomism with switching my personal garden to Organics. It is the future anyways.
