Itz Lemon Z yall

Finally decided to make this a little easier! Since I can’t check the ph in earthbox reservoir without buying a bench ph tester i could drop down the fill tube i am gonna use my bucket rez from the blumats! I can mix 5 gallons up ahead of time so i can watch it just in case it does fluctuate after its had oxygen exposure and then i can adjust it before filling it the eb rez! If i wanted to be real lazy i could run tubing from the rez to the fill tubes but it would be harder to gauge how much water I’ve given them! Probably just let it transfer to a gallon jug and into eb so I don’t gotta worry about overfilling the rez! Even with a drain tray under the overflow hole can still get all over floor so waiting til they go dry and adding 2 gallons prevents overflow!
Can you suck up water with a turkey baster or large syringe? Thru the walter level observation tube thing?

There isn’t one of those! This is what they look like!

Fill tube on the right and that notch on the bottom center area has an overflow hole up there in case u fill rez too full since its internal under the soil so u can’t exactly see what’s inside! If empty it holds right about 3gal before it will reach overflow status! Plants don’t look like any ph issues tho i just wanna be thorough since putting nutrients into reservoir is a new method for me!

Yeah definitely going to need to check it somehow maybe only fill enough they can drink in a day? My ph typically raises .2-.4 during veg per day this round not sure if my balance is messed up or what but the ph drops daily in flower if I don't stay on it by the time 10 of the 14 gallons is gone my ph is below 5.5. Mind you I'm in coco also so I'm phing to 5.8 but with it dropping I try to keep it just above 6 in flower for the start of the day.

I need to do the 6mo maintenance on my ph probe and refill the electrode gel and calibrate it! U can tell when it needs it cuz ph never really settles it gets to right about what ph is and then will bounce up a smidge and then back to actual ph! Can still get good enough reading and was right about 6.5!

You gotta be able to stick a piece of tubing down there that touches some feed. Only need like 2 teaspoons to get a reading
If i see anything that starts looking suspect i could use some of the flex tubing from the blumats and feed it down fill tube and manually siphon suck a smidge out to test!

You should be good just watch it I'm mainly worried about it being low for soil highest I ever seen mine is around 6.5 usually the day after mixing nutes is it's highest value. I use RO buffered gypsum and epsom .3 gram per gallon

Just food for thought since I'm using the same stuff :toke: :pass:

Fluctuations in the res are from the plant feeding, temps and oxygen content will affect the ph as well

I'm not talking recirculating Rez I drain to waste so yes it's temps and oxygen among other things but how ph stable the nutes are plays a bigger role
