Mephisto Genetics White Crack and Kis Organics Soil

Just throwing this out here cause I know you guys have this figured out but I am just stumped. Once I upload a pic to my album, I can’t figure out how to put it in a post like I used to. Can any of my grow bros point me in the right direction? It’s harvest time and I want to share my work with ya all.

So I don't see much change today. She is still drinking more than a few days ago. I did the URB MICROBES 1/2 strength water the other day. I will repeat Thursday. I use RO water daily, But I messaged Tad from Kis Organics. He said to use 50/50 tap/RO instead. I like the idea of not using Straight RO. I may even try a plant with straight tap later on. I made a 50/50 mix. I will let sit til tomorrow night to dechlorinate. She is looking great, but I am hoping she starts to flower soon. I will be concerned if she isn't flowering by next week. The extra Soil and training will make mostplants go a little longer. It will be worth it in the end.

Hey @Roasty McToasty and @MrOldBoy , when did your girls start to flower in Kis Soil? I am on day 33. I am sure this is the longer growing pheno, but just curious to see if your plants flowered early, on time, or a little behind! This is my first time doing this Kis water only. And I will start to mix 50/50 tap/RO. Already have 2 gal mixed and sitting til tomorrow. My Roc Bud Inc strains are doing well on day 23. 10 days behind the White Crack. Training day #1 tomorrow. Sam’s Crack didn’t come with a timeframe like White Crack but if memory serves me, my Sam’s finished later than yours so I suspect within a day or two you should see flowers forming ......

Sam did start about day 29 - you can look in my journal to see where Sam was at day 33ish but again Sam and White are different ..... Hope this helps!

Yes they are different plants. I don't think any plant has an exact timeline. Too many factors. A general timeline for most Mephisto Strains is 10-11 weeks. With Sour Crack and 24 Carat being faster at 8-10 weeks. I can tell that my White Crack is about to flower. Within the week we will see the transition.

whats the thinking of mixing RO with tap? RO was one of the best upgrades I did (coco and liquid nutes). I have medium hard glacier fed tap though.

RO is.an upgrade for Coco...but we have to Add a lot of Cal-Mag to make up.for it. Tad from Kis says a mix is better than straight RO for Organic Soil growing, to get a little bit of of Cal-Mag naturally in Tap water.

Well I guess I was wrong. She did grow,.and so I took a pic before and after tonight's training. Flowering right around the corner. So Day 33 before candy cane training...

So after sleeping on it, I decided that I will try the 50/50 tap/RO water on a couple of of the seedlings that I have. If they react poorly, then I won't use it. If they are fine I will keep using it. However, I feel more comfortable trying 2.5ml per gal of Organic Cal-Mag and will try that on the rest. I don't see any deficiency at all, but Tad said straight RO isn't the best for Kis Soil. I am afraid to try tap RO mix on my beautiful White Crack. If for some stupid reason it reacted poorly I would be pissed. I don't know if there is any chlorine or Chloramine in the tap water. But I do know we have a lot of Calcium in our water. The seedlings will tell me if it is ok or not quickly..

I have to order some soil from Kis today. I am going to try something different. I am going to try to run 2 Sour Crack plants in the same Junior. It is the fastest strain that I have. But won't get massive. I can fit 2 in the same pot, so let's see what happens! Will drop 2 Sour Crack seeds in water today. That will be a good test to see how fast they grow. I expect 8-9 weeks post transplant. I will veg for 10 days and transplant.
