I feel side lighting is a game changer. Especially for the big plants that some of us grow. I use cobs as side lights. They are individual cob/heat sinks on yoyo hangers that I can angle and aim into the lower canopy from the side. I feel you can get away with less defoliation, and reap bigger and better buds from the middle to the bottom. Side lighting makes laying branches out flatter with candy canes or staking super efficient. Light not only penetrates the side it is shining directly on, but also adds lumens to the opposite side in close to the mainstem.
I just use 1 cob as a side light, so part of my routine is to turn my plants a 1/4 turn 2x a day. With the 4 legs you have you get to pass on spinning platters.

I don't even want to turn on my other Cob. I don't think the plant needs it on top, but the sides will benefit once she stretches a little. In my Larger spaces I could put a cob on an angle.and keep it's safe distance away.

Side cobs definitely require being able to have extra space to get a safe distance, even being turned down. I have an unusual shaped room that works out just right for me, but in a tent, it just wouldn't be very doable.

Day 31. I see her slowing growth a little, prepping for flower I assume. I will add a little EWC to top dress later tonight. She is drinking the same, filling out nicely. I think she will start preflowering soon. She is the slower flowering Pheno, but that's ok. I have had a few Phenos of White Crack. I knew she wasn't the fastest pheno by how much she has filled out. Plus training her can add a little time. Will add pics later

I will do a 1/2 dose and see what happens. I would rather do 1/2 strength 2x per week vs full strength 1x per week. You can always add more. The structure is excellent. I think we will see some stretching in the next week. The Microbes might kick her into flower? I am going use URB MICROBES on a couple strains in veg and flower to see if it makes a difference. With the training she is staying nice and low - Think you’ll soon see the start of flower but she looks real real healthy and is still growing those Bud sites .....

Next couple of weeks should be exciting!

Too early to make a blanket Statement. Yield and Quality will Tellus more. But in my humble opinion, this is by far the easiest Grow of my life! I have been doing this longer than some people around here have veen alive. A monkey could do what I am doing. For water only, I cannot ask for more. Now the fun begins. Flowering will tell us Everything. But for veg, this Kis Soil is doing a mighty 1fine job. Coco is much more work. But my yields with Coco per volume of Medium is insane. You can yield 1/2 pound in 1/2 gal of Coco. You cannot replicate that in ANY other form of growing. 1/2 galof Soil, you wont yield aJack shit. 1/2 gal DWC = FAIL. 1/2 GAL of peat = 1maybe 2oz.

That being said. The massive reduced Labor on the Organic is amazing. If the yields are decently close, Organic wins most of the time in taste and smell. I am hoping for a decent yield, of higher Quality in smell/,taste. This is for my personal needs. So, quality over Quantity. Seeing the growth of my current Organic Soil plants, makes very optimistic. Time will tell.

Day 32. I believe it was just yesterday that I think she is going to jump up soon. Literally in less than 24 hours I have seen her jump in height. I will need to adjust the Pegs tomorrow. But overall, it is minimal leaf tucking and minor adjustments in training. I put a few ml of URB MICROBES in my water today. She drank more than ever! More than 1/2 Gal. I expect her to drink more water the next few weeks gradually. She is ready to rock .
