Mephisto Genetics White Crack and Kis Organics Soil

@Organic Sinse ...... Isn’t Slow’s WC looking marvelous ......

For sure KIS soil has calcium in it including oyster shells for slow release and ag lime and calcite too ....

Also to further help soil with any chlorine there is light BioChar in it too .....

@slowandeasy .... Mammoth P is a soil inoculant designed to help roots take up nutrients and is not considered a trace element like calcium or magnesium is ..... Adding more cal-mag could lock up nutrient intake - that would be my worry ....

here are the KIS soil ingredients:

Alaskan Sphagnum Peat Moss, Oly Mountain Fish Compost, Earthworm Castings, Volcanic Pumice, KIS Organics Microbe Catalyst, Gaia Green Canadian Glacial Rock Dust, Cascade Minerals Basalt, Calphos Soft Rock Phosphate, Pacific Pearl Oyster Shell Powder, Organic Alfalfa Meal, Organic Fish Bone Meal, Organic Crustacean Meal, Acadian Kelp Meal (ascophyllum nodosum), Ahimsa Organics Neem Cake, Ahimsa Organics Karanja Cake, Organic Fish Meal, Organic Feather Meal, Organic Steamed Bone Meal, Natural Calcite, Ag Lime, Mycorrhiza*, and Beneficial Microbes.

I know what Mammoth P is, I never said it was a trace element. I am saying that Using it might help or It might not. Using Tap water might work better than RO. It might not. My tap water is stronger than adding a small amount of Calmag. The owner of the company said to use Tap water over RO. If you are worried about lock out, Then my Tap water would cause it before a few ml per gal of Organic Calmag. You seem kind of overly concerned about the issue, adding a few ml of Cal-Mag now and then is safer than using rain water and tap water. In my case my Tap water is very high in Calcium. Higher than 2.5ml added to RO.

BTW, Roots Organic Calmag has no Nitrogen in it like other brands. So it is mearly a mild buffer and preventative measure. The only way to know what works in my personal garden is to try it for myself. I will run a micro dose for a week, @ 3ml per gal. There is no way on Earth that 100ppm of Cal-Mag will cause lockout. I don't have to use it daily,. The only way to know if Tap only will work is to try it. So I will dedicate a couple other plants to experiment.i am also using URB MICROBES 2x per week at 1/2 dose.

Cool Beans I’m just saying adding Mammoth P isn’t same as adding cal-mag that’s all ..... Whatever you do it is an experiment and you know what your doing ..... no worries either way ......

Excited to see her start flowering!

Peace,
MOB

Not sure why you have an issue with my comparison between adding a minute amount of anything. The amount is so little, that it will not effect anything negatively. That is my point. Of course Calmag and Mammoth P are different products. I never said they were the same . Neither products are required, but it might help a little to add a little in RO water. You have no way of knowing if Mammoth P helped your grow. Is it required? No. I have asked Tad about Mammoth P and he doesn't really promote it. He says the same thing. It might help, but it's not necessary. However he did say that running RO is not optimal. Knowing exactly how much Calmag I added gives me the upper hand vs Tap. I know exactly the strength my plant is getting. That is how you learn. Knowing what you are putting in exactly is better than guessing how much my Tap water is giving them. Luckily I have plenty of seedlings to try Tap water on. That is the true test. If a seedling grows fine with tap or a mix, then a grown plant should do fine.

Oh yeah, I am adding URB MICROBES 2x per week at half strength so the days in-between I will do RO one day and Calmag/RO the next. So it would only get Calmag 2x per week. I am not going to water daily with Calmag, because products like URB MICROBES or Mammoth P can help. Many Microbe companies say that you can reduce the amount of Nutrients you use to feed your plants. I did not use URB from the beginning on this plant. But I will try it out on a plant or 2 to see if it makes any difference. I need my Baseline plant, so White Crack is my Baseline. I know exactly what I did and when. Today is day 34. She is doing great and ready to bulk up with flowers. I will add a couple of pics later. Peace slowandeasy

Ok, day 35. I have seen her changing the past few days. She is starting to stretch. I added 1/2 gal today, so she is drinking more water. However, I think that she is going to be too cramped in that tent. I have plenty of other tents, but I wanted to try 1 plant in this space. I underestimated the size and Growth for a small/Medium sized Strain, it is taking up almost the whole tent already!

She is not done growing and I would like to give her the space that she deserves. I have a massive Photo plant that I will move. I will put the White Crack in the 4x8 with the other two Organic Soil plants. So they are all in the same space, makes it easier to water. I have given her a ton of love and trained her well. I cannot wait til she starts to flower hard.

I cannot guess the potential yield yet, but by her shape and size...my Goal of 3+ oz should be achieved. @MrOldBoy, If I get 5+ oz I will be super happy! It is possible by her size and amount of bud sites the Candy Cane training produced. I was starting some seedlings in the same tent, but had to remove them all. There is now only minimal lighting getting to the floor level. Because White Crack is so filled out, the seedlings were in the shade yesterday so I moved them. However, I will move all of my seedlings back to that little Tent after I move the White Crack out. It is a perfect little starter tent. I guess I will turn on my Quantum boards in my 4x8 once she starts to flower, they are more Red spectrum. I will let her adjust to the 4x8 lighting for a few days before cranking the Quantums on...she should be preflowering better in a few days. Will add pics later today, I think she is doing excellent. She was so thirsty this morning. I usually water her late night, but fell asleep. So she got about 5 to 6 more hours between the previous watering than usual. Pics later today Peace slowandeasy

I wonder if you got the large pheno of the white crack? I feel like ive grown the other main 2 phenos just not the large one. If you got her im very eager to see what that pheno is like. Such a lovely strain that i hope they bring back for good. I like this stage of growth. Especially if training. Looking forward to the photos later

I would be surprised if 5oz is all you get - I’m still thinking 6.5 oz but then what do I know .....

For sure more room, glad she is moving and adjust to lights slowly sounds like a plan .....

Water intake starting to take off which was predicted - Sam was watered several times daily, she was drinking upwards to 2+ gallons per day, even close to 3 gallons which is hard to believe - Can you even imagine using 2+ gallons of water a day in a normal cloth pot, even if pot was a 15 gallon size pot?

I know for a fact the SIP Container was more efficient at keeping my gardening buddies the worms alive, verses the cloth pots ..... I tore down the cloth pots and found some worms remaining but in Sam’s Container the worms are abundant and still to today that container has worms awaiting another grow - which will happen soon btw ..... Thinking of a gold glue, sour livers and 24k in the Junior Boxes so we will have a little yield compare along with yours!

Peace,
MOB

Hey @MrOldBoy, I can totally believe that Sam drank 2+ gal per day. Clearly plants in these Earthbox Juniors are drinking a lot. Give a healthy plant more room to spread out and she will. I have my other 2 on day 25, 10 days behind W/C. Different structure of the plants. I am using Candy Cane training, but not as agressively as WC. They are taller snd more open. I have learned that some Auto plants do better with minimal training vs true LST. You can usually tell by the structure at 3 week mark if they should grow more natural. I will take the Main cola on both of them, but not go crazy laying her flat, it would be a waste of space and time. I will add pics in a few on all 3 plants with my phone, sorry! But it has been a couple of days. You will see the difference in structure on the Roc Bud Inc strains. The Roc Dawg Funk has much thicker of a stalk than. Diesel Cookies.

Larger tent sweet, away we grow .... allow her to spread / flower .....

CC Training is going to pay dividends soon, what I learned is the branches became stronger and less droop with heavy buds hanging on them like my other plants who didn’t receive as much attention - I mean how many CC can one Santa own, especially, when training on Sam was intense and she required a LOT of CC, lots ......

Jonesing for pics so even your camera works, smile!

Peace,
MOB
