Mephisto Genetics White Crack and Kis Organics Soil

Moved WC to her new home last night, She has plenty of room now! I took a couple of pics, but the lighting was not good. I will take some better ones today. I am happy to say that she is preflowering decently now! The main Cola is trying to stretch out, but I will hold her down with Tent Pegs. I am EXTREMELY happy with her. She is pretty big, so she isn't flowering as fast as my small ones in Coco did most of the time. However, I have her in 10x as much Medium now. Rootbounding effects flowering of Autos. I believe this pheno is branchier and larger as well. Typically once WC starts to flower it builds buds rather quickly. Not in a hurry, but we will see her start to transition into flowering starting now.
Perfect timing for me to move her. She will get the Quantum boards turned on in a few days . Once I see her really budding I will put them on low. They are strong and more of a red Spectrum. Also, I am amazed at how much Water she is taking now! It is increasing daily. She took 3 Quarts last night and didn't get any overflow. I have a 3 Quart Jug with measurements on it, I fill with water to mentally keep track of the intake. She could have taken a whole Gal last night. I may have to water 2x per day I flowering. @MrOldBoy, I am surprised at how fast she is needing water. You warned me. You were right. It is taking more water daily now. For having a decent amount of Soil, they gobble up the water quickly. Pics soon. Peace, Slow

Sam was watered 2-3-4 times daily, water use was unreal ..... Again I say, hard to imagine using 1+ gallons daily in a cloth pot or 2+ gallons like Sam was using .....

At this point Sam had plenty of air movement as the leaves will transpire pretty good - with Sam I had 5, sometimes 6, fans blowing at her - without I was getting moisture between the leaves and for sure when she was flowering I was running dehumidifier sucking 2-3 gallons of moisture daily out of the room housing the tent - humidity in tent was below 50% ....

Once Buds start you’ll see explosive growth again!

Peace,
MOB

PS .... I top dressed Sam with some worm castings at this point, about a cup for Sam.

Thanks for the heads up. I will top dress her tonight. She is preflowering decently now. Right now I could see doing 3 to 4 plants per 4x4 space, depending on strain if using Juniors. I plan on trying 2 Sour Cracks in 1Junior. My WC is doing great. She is definitely drinking more water each day. I will start to water 2x per day if it becomes more than 1 gal...which it is already very close to using. Yesterday I used 3 Quarts and no overflow. My other strains are doing well, much more open structure. I don't know what to expect, but they are healthy.

Figured when I grew Sam a lot of gardening skills came into play .... but I was wrong ....

I prepared an EarthBox for my daughter to grow tomatoes ..... Planted a Heirloom Rutgers for her and thought she would do well but somehow something would goof ..... but to my amazement she grew some beautiful tomatoes .....

She had failed growing tomatoes for many many years but the EarthBox made her a much better gardener, for once she had the watering down - the rest was the right soil and some top dressings .... And she finally understood when and how to fertilize- she understold the concept of feeding the soil, not the plant .....

Then you, a coco guy, a guy who always fed the plant certainly not the medium and was kinda adamant about not going Soil, mainly due to bugs / mess and then @Roasty McToasty had bugs and I thought oh no, slow will never try especially living in an apartment and now look at you ...... Growing that marvelous girl ..... and to top it off, your loving it .....

Always look forward to pictures, even with your phone!

Peace,
MOB

PS .... When you Top Dress mist top of soil first and top dressing afterwards, it helps jump start the process ...... Four in 4x4 perfect - one running parallel to each wall.

I don't live in an apartment, but never wanted to do Soil because in the past Organic Soil growing did yield well and bugs are more common in soil than in Coco. I have multiple operations, the soil grows are my personal experiments.

Here are some pictures from yesterday. The lighting is not great. I will take more later. Peacez slowandeasy.

@slowandeasy

All the girls look real happy - very nice color ..... What kind of lights now? I know you will be switching but what for veg?

Thanks,
MOB
I used 1 3000k Cob in the small tent. In large tent I have a 3 to 1 ratio of 3000k to 6500k. Basically in a 4x4 space I do 4 to 5 cobs. 1 of them being a 6500k. I like the Blue for the whole grow to be honest. I have had some plants near the 6500k do just as good or better. But they get a mix of the 2 spectrums the whole time. I also have 2 QB96 lights for flower. Mostly Red spectrum and adjustable intensity. They are not on yet. Will wait about 5-7 days. So the WC Is flowering decently. They are strong lights for how small they are.

Look fantastic. Healthy and happy
Thanks, I appreciate the support. I can't take much credit, the soil is doing all of the work. I just add water. I have only given Calmag once and URB MICROBES 2 to 3 times. The first couple of weeks I added a splash of Orca, for Root development. The WC will need watering 2x per day soon. She is taking more water each day. I just watered all of them. They are all drinking more! WC took almost a whole gal. And the RDF and Diesel Cookies took 9 of the 9 oz cups each. When I watered them I noticed the Diesel Cookies Cob looked dim. Upon further inspection it had a bad connection and will need a new Chip. I don't have any extra lying around, but that's ok. I will turn on the QB96 lights I a few days. Until then I will just move one over and unplug the one with the bad connection. I will get a new Chip later. Will get 6500k. I have plenty 3000k. I will do the URB MICROBES watering on Fri and possibly turn on the bigger lights. That is my goal, but will have them on low. If they respond well I will turn up the power after 5-7 days. I have to just rearrange a few plants and Cobs before turning them on.

Also, I have a couple seedlings that popped up. 2 Sour Cracks. @MrOldBoy check this one out.... DOUBLE GRAPE x SAMSQUANCH OG!!! I have never seen anyone do one of them yet. The seed was the first out of those 3 to. Pop a tail. I will be starting another one tonight to soak, so we can see more than 1pheno... Maybe?! I will be trying 2 Sour Cracks in 1 Earthbox Junior. They are already above ground. So is the Double Grape x Samsquanch. I am sure it will go 9-11 weeks, so I definitely will start another tonight. If anyone has experience with it, let me know. I have done both plants individually, but not the Hybrid. I predict good things, I was pumped when I found them. I totally forgot about them, because they were freebies.
