The only reason I would consider going back to hps is because it's damn cold in my basement in winter and I could use the extra heat. If it comes down to a 1000w heater or HPS I think I'm going to go the HPS route.
I only have a 2x2 tent so a hps wouldnt work. I just run a smaller ceramic heater in my tent on a thermostat. When the lights are on it doesnt even run. When they are off i dont get the massive temp fluctuation. It does remove humidity also but that's not a bad thing through flower anyway really. Easier to add it then remove it

Think I've fucked up my lst. My plant isnt bending over its just pulled it on an angle. I'll have to let it grow out before I can try again

Anchored her one way. Pulled back the other. Hopefully she will take off soon again as I think she has plattowed. Also need a new ph meter as I'm not trusting this one

So I've cut my mik crate up, lifted my co2 mushrooms. Re set my light to about to about 25inches and gave her a feed and water. Now I know my ph metre isnt exactly high quality but I've noticed early on the soil ph doesnt come down to later on in my grow. Is this a normal thing or does it take a bit of a build up to come down in coco or is it just my shitty metre. I cant really tell if my plants stopped or not. @MesaBoogie @Fitzy @Garage_Grower @Cali-Dream @Bud Marley

So those are supposed to test wat they call a slurry test or atleast that's the only ones I know of I will say though your plant looks fine and healthy so I wouldn't be concerned. As for your pen are you able to calibrate it so by the solution and check it if it's off adjust I use a cheap ph pen and a apera ph20 so i have a way to double check .

Cant calibrate it I dont think. All I can really check is the feed ph. I reckon I'll just have to buy another pen so I can compare

I have a litnus tester but not soil. I feed around 5.5. It's just weird the pen comes down when the plants in flower. Would checking the run off give me and accurate ph
It will give you a ballpark ya also salt build up can effect ph

Next watering I'm gonna give her a good flush. Is there any specific way to flush salt with removing all nutrients
