Like bar style? What about a migro aray4 + red? Or can you give me a few off the top of your head to look up?I have used viparspectra P series and XS series, the XS is hands down better as a full spectrum light, less led's with better PAR in a more balanced spectrum.
But in my honest opinion a strip type light provides a far better coverage/PAR map and is the route I would suggest.
I took it off my list until this morning i realized he has upgraded it added stiffeners to the light brackets, they screw in now instead of slide in place, added the red leds, daisy chain and on off switch and better loop holes for hanging. He fixed everything anyone had a complaint about all in one new model. Before hand they were REALLY flimsy what turned me away. Do you think 250watt in a 2.5x4.5 closet would give good results? I know is has great even spread and good par results better than a lot of what ive viewed.Yes a bar/strip style from Migro, Marshydro, or a DIY setup. I was seriously considering a Migro before I decided on going DIY.
Do you think i would be better off going with the xs4000 or the migro aray4? I cant really find any other bar style lights for a 2x4 area that will give even distribution of light without dropping ppfd significantly in the corners and sides. Both the options i chose i will be able to get 600+ all the way around my closet but the xs4000 will give me more lighting if i decide to move the grow to my 3x6 closet. So im back and forth. LolThe Array4 is about the smallest viable light in my opinion for your grow area and does have the proper proportions for even lighting in your rectangular grow. I was considering the Array3 for my 2.5x2.5 cabinet.
Thanks man really appreciate your advice! You can always turn down the light for a smaller area, but you can not turn up a light beyond 100%.
What would you get? Im 100% open to any ideas just doing really solid research this week before i buy one next weekend. If I were in your shoes I'd buy something other than a Viparspectra. But, out of those 2 the XS will be a better light. 301B diodes are better and it has a better driver.
