The only microclimate I've got now I use for my snake and it was about 22quid I'm gunna need to buy one myself and a heater as I'd like to run 18/6 this time as last run was 24hr

I run 24/24 wouldn't be arsed flipping lights lol. Onless I have too
But I may get a timer and a 2-way thermostat and do 20/4 this next run

If I use a thermostat attached to the fan, will the fan only switch on when it reachs a set temp, and is this OK for extraction.?
I thought Air always had to be extracted all the time or can it be done only when heat gets too high,

I keep my extraction and intake fans on constantly (in flower tent) and only let them deal with RH. If you have issues with heat I’d try to tackle it separately with a green house heater and a decent size oscillating fan plugged into a thermostat/ controller which will activate which ever one when necessary. I used an ink bird when I was growing in the shed but I’m sure there are plenty of other manufacturers.

Not sure what one to get as I'm used to 4 inch fans between 100-200 cfm and have never used anything bigger,
But been reading that I need 400cfm or more for a 5x5 but surely that amount of cfm will snatch away the heat out the tent lol.
Need to get a better speed controller too as my vari controllers crap and
basicly a cheap light dimmer lol

I can recommend the SMS speed controllers, I have'nt had the typical dim noise that you get when running at low speeds I paid about £65 for it. Any of their controllers will cope with any extractor you buy.

I got good results with 24hr with think different but I'm sure I read somewhere that not all auto strains like it round the clock

Some definitely don't, now thinking about it that could be why my Mazar turned strange lol
A week earlier harvest some times and less chance of getting budrott

I got hammered with bud rot and 4 of my plants went 7 weeks over hahaha nearly doubled the breeder timescale lol
