Not sure what one to get as I'm used to 4 inch fans between 100-200 cfm and have never used anything bigger,
But been reading that I need 400cfm or more for a 5x5 but surely that amount of cfm will snatch away the heat out the tent lol.
Need to get a better speed controller too as my vari controllers crap and
basicly a cheap light dimmer lol

Would this be any good for you? I know it’s slightly above your upper budget but in my experience they make quality stuff.

This is my extraction at the minute
Filter/Fan/attached with1foot of ducting going out of tent with a booster fan attached to the ducting on the outside.
White fans 187 m3/hour and the black ones 108 m3/hour & seems to be doing fine,
Plus my tents full of gaps and holes, could I get away with my current set up in the 5x5

Would this be any good for you? I know it’s slightly above your upper budget but in my experience they make quality stuff.

If I use a thermostat attached to the fan, will the fan only switch on when it reachs a set temp, and is this OK for extraction.?
I thought Air always had to be extracted all the time or can it be done only when heat gets too high,

I've always just ran the xtractor when the lights are on but oscillating fan runs 24hrs.. And yeah u can set a desired temp and if it gets hot the fan kicks in u can have a 2 way thermostat or microclimate aswel to plug a heater into it.. Then the fan and heater work together to keep things ideal

Yeah I would imagine it would be handy if u struggle to maintain temps or humidity or both..

The only microclimate I've got now I use for my snake and it was about 22quid I'm gunna need to buy one myself and a heater as I'd like to run 18/6 this time as last run was 24hr
