Yep dead leaf is how I found it, i keep my eyes pealed now for it, but extra fan and a little Dehumidifier is the way to go mine was definitely down to airflow and it being the shortest plant in the tent in a corner.

Looking at it, again it did have a bit of dead leaf at the main area... Top info guys Thankyou... I just learned a new lesson.
I've decided to harvest all 3 plants today now just in case it happens to the other 2.

once you know what your looking for they just stand out on a good bud and next time make sure you improve your airflow around your tops as its heartbreaking losing your main top i lost my whole outdoor plant this year i was gutted to fuck

How did you drying experiment turn out? Which did you prefer..

The brown bag nugs took 6 days before moving into jars. They are now curing at 66RH and it’s a mega smoke, really impressed. When I burp the jars the house rocks. The other half I hung was sitting at 45RH in the tent at 20C, after 4 days they looked ready, crisp to the touch but the inner stalks were still pliable so I jarred it all. When I checked the jars RH a few hours later it was 63, which doesn’t leave a large window for curing.

I’ve kept one 32oz jar of this and the remaining I put in with the bag dried flower to raise the RH. I think my 60x60 tent with the 4” extractor going just dried it quicker than I would have liked. It’s still a very good smoke but not as tacky. I think for my circumstances the brown bags is the best option.

Nice, thanks for the update. I think I will try your experiment with the american pie. Its a much larger plant and has the yield to do this.
The ones hanging now are drying in a 60RH room at around 20C. I have a very slight breeze blowing around them.

My first harvest has started.. Woooooop
The Kraft bags arrived, I'm 4 branches down and already have 2.5 oz of trimmed wet buds... So far I haven't found any more mould, just that bit in the main cola... It could all be covered in spores and go bad, but I've got 2 more plants to harvest with no signs of mould initially... I'm pulling a late one but...... Fuck it's worth it though. These Nugs are solid and fat

well done bro but one thing i never understand folks weighing wet buds anyhow they lose about 70 per cent when dry i think so still a great haul
