End of week 1. Shes being fed 4 times a day now. 600ppm. So far so good, got to figure out a way to raise the light some more, or lower my table a bit.
Nudger - the light has been great so far. I'm trying different heights right now. Seems like at the young age right now they like it to be high. I've got mine over 3ft now she seems to like it. Still not much stretch out of her.
Tdam - thanks for joining my friend.
Alright so today is the end of week 3. She's feeding at 5 times a day for 30 sec @ 720ppm. I've raised my light up to over 3ft to try and get some stretch. The nodes are about 1" apart which is fine with me, just need some vertical growth out of her. Reminds me of the BHD I grew a couple years back, a true monster! Anyways, I've given her a fresh nute change tonight. I've looked for signs of sex everyday and still can't find any sign, which makes me very happy! Also, as you can see I've been removing big fan leafs every couple of days this past week. Today I took a before and after picture. The side branches have really started to reach out since I've been plucking them. Tonight I got her while the lights where off so no LED light lol.
Hey dudes, sorry its been so long. Its been 3 weeks since the last update, time flys lol. She has been going along nicely. She just now started to give me vertical growth because she is starting to flower. I should note that it took 5 weeks for her to show sex, and another 2 weeks to actually show signs of flowering. This week she has been drinking pretty heavily. She is really a big fan of branches, lots and lots of branches . Every side branch has side branches that have side branches. Mostly due to me defoliating her im sure. However, she has got some pretty stout stems already and as I always say, big stems big buds. We shall see lol. She is approx 2ft in diameter and about 1.5ft tall. I hope to try out the t5's shortly. The heat this summer has been really horrible. And this LED really puts out some heat, so I have held off on using the t5's just because I think temps are more important than excessive light lol. I havent started to feed any bloom nutes yet, just the veg schedule and the pre-flower additives. I'll start feeding bloom when she stops stretching.
You can only see through her because I plucked 3 handfuls of leafs yesterday. I prefer this look over the secretive shade canopy.
