Outdoor Trailanimal's 2016 Greenhouse plus Voodoo Girl

could be, how would I tell?, never had root probs before

Good question that I've never found a real good answer to in soil, I just do the whole process of elimination thing.

You've tried wet, now let her dry and see what happens.

If it takes a long time to dry out that could point to a root problem.

I've got one right now that is acting like that and the only thing left is root problems.

Mine takes at least 5X longer to dry than any of the others of the same size and in the same medium. I even drilled 100 little .250" holes in the pot and it didn't help.

So now I'm just letting her limp to the finish line as she's still growing and still green, but looks like crap.

posted on Infirmary and consensus is over water, so I'll start by getting her drier. The heat and dry wind in greenhouse makes me want to water, too much. Cooler and some overcast now, should help me suspend my disbelief and slow down. She is probably more sensitive to over water than others I've grown, treating her the same as others of her size and pot size, failing to pay attention to her individual need.

Maybe something in that pot that holding moisture longer, after harvest you can see wtf

When I emptied out some pots that held my first round of failures I was really surprised at how wet the soil was. Sure wouldn't have known even by sticking a finger down there. I had put coco coir on the bottom of the pot thinking it would drain but nope of course it held water real well.

I would guess at overwatering too mate, easily done in the good weather- you could always try the old fashioned atick a finger in the soil method to check the moisture- or even a cheap moisture meter hazy swears by them

I'll be using the finger and picking up the pot to gauge weight
