Hey, week 9 roughly and my banana blaze autos are a little bushy, should I take some leaves from the middle ? Hoping the banana blaze fatten up as they’re a little wispy.

also can’t get my humidity down enough and my temp higher as it’s not extra cold winter in Scotland , kinda stuck for cash just now so can’t invest in heater/dehum. They look like they’re doing okay considering the low temp and high humidity

check my purple lemonade though, she looks amazing

Not even close, imo.

Coming from someone who hopes to not 'defol', at all. I like to see what the plants 'want' to do.

Nice plants

Nice looking plants there mate. She's not crying out for defoliation. I whip off the lowest branches cos I don't want the fluff, but generally keep the leaves

:yeahthat: i try not defol if you can add another fan and wack your extracter fan on full beans that will help got well high rh down south to weather is crap here in uk up down like yoyo but your girls look fine. Maybe you could run your light 24/7 to keep temps up

If you don't already, covering your growing medium with plastic from shopping bag (I cover bottoms too), helps with rh quite a bit. Has other benefits as well.

Oh, didn't notice op's post for some reason. If I were you I'd wrap those fabric pots in a garbage bag or something, that is most of the source of humidity over ambient I would guess. Probably water half as much too.

I wouldn't recommend covering anything in a plastic bag.. I've not seen anyone do that. It would get mouldy in there real fast :cooldance: reducing watering would help lower RH

What values are you getting for your temp and RH? :smoking:

Ive seen it a bit, at least. They even do it on farms/ large scale agricultural. Put a couple holes in it and it’s the same as a plastic pot, I wouldn’t put holes though. More than that, I wouldn’t use a fabric pot indoors, obvious humidity problems, for no reason.

Lights are Mars hydro ts600 run 24/7, grew my first in “Summer” and all my kit worked perfect for the VPD chart .. now it’s winters it’s west to shit lol no need for a humidifier, my inkbird is useless but for average 17 Celsius the last week or so and 70% humidity the purple has took off, jus hoping the others eventually catch up lol

Not great, grew in summer and was perfect as I have a humidifier etc to stick with the vpd chart, now it’s winter my kit won’t heat it as much as it needs and also it’s got soo cold more so than usual
Average for the last week or 2 is terrible, 17 celcius and 70%humidity

Aye they are as you say, chilly and a wee bit damp! Sucks, but they're not looking bad are they? So long as you stay vigilant for mould and mildew and get as much air movement and exchange as possible, think you'll get by alright  roll on the summer
