I mixed up another batch of super soil today! here is a list of what I used in my super soil mix this time.

batch was made with

18 lbs. of master organic worm castings
1.25 lbs. Bat Guano--------------------- (0-7-0)
1.25 lbs. Bone Meal-------------------- (3-16-0)
1.25 lbs. Blood Meal--------------------(12-0-0)
3 tbsp. Epsom Salt
1.5 tsp. Powdered Humic Acid
1/2 cups-kelp powder
1.5 cups Alfalfa Meal
1.5 cups Oyster Shell Flour
1.5 cups kelp meal
1.5 cups-Azomite
1/2 cup Mycorrhizal Fungi
1 cup Potash

this was mixed with 2x 1.5 cubic feet bags of Dr. earth pot of gold all purpose potting soil and about 1 cubic foot of Vigoro perlite but I might add some more perlite later and was hand mixed by me and a friend in a 55 gallon tote that I got from home depot once it was well mixed I added 2 and a half gallons of filtered water and mixed it up some more and put on my porch to chill until its ready

on a side note when I was adding my worm castings to the super soil mix I found quite a few small worms in the worm castings still alive in there when I was breaking up the bigger chunks to make sure it was mixed well not sure if there will stay alive being in that soil on the hot porch but if they do awesome

once it done "cooking" in about 45 to 60 days basically its just giving the soil time to break down the amendments so that plants can uptake the nutrients in the soil a bit easier

this mix will be used only at the bottom half of the pots and I will fill the rest of the pot with plain potting soil and plant my seed or clone in to that so it will have time to establish roots and not get nute burned

everything I used to make this super soil I got at home depot or eBay I got the super soil amendments premixed from eBay and I also got the worm castings from eBay everything else I got at home depot the soil, the perlite and the 55 gallon tote

man I am so tired!

I just got done mixing some soil and let me tell you mixing soil is no easy job I had to mix it all by hand I am lucky I only had to mix a 2 bag batch at one time or it would be way to much work to do by hand

its all good I got it done I made this batch different then my last one I added a few more pounds of worm castings from 18 pounds to 20 pounds and I also added Malibu compost for the first time and insect frass for the first time and lets not forget my first time adding bokashi for the first time too

the added ingredients to my super soil should make a fine addition

this batch was made with

20 lbs. of organic worm castings
10 lbs. of Malibu compost (Bu’s Blend Biodynamic Compost)
1.25 lbs. insect frass (mealworm)
1.25 lbs. Bat Guano--------------------- (0-7-0)
1.25 lbs. Bone Meal-------------------- (3-16-0)
1.25 lbs. Blood Meal--------------------(12-0-0)
3 tbsp. Epsom Salt

2 to 4 cups of bokashi (bokashi brothers) I just pored some I did not measure it

this was mixed with 2 1.5 cubic feet bags of nectar of the gods [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] soil potting soil it was hand mixed by me in a 55 gallon tote that I got from home depot once it was well mixed I added about 2 gallons of filtered water and mixed it up some more and put on my porch to chill until its ready I let it cook for about 60 days this time I still have to mix it up a bit before I add it to the pots

I still have some Malibu compost, bokashi and worm castings that I plan to make some tea for the plants later this week

My run off ph is coming high at 7.20 Ph

QUESTION is : can I ph down my Ro water to to 4.5 to correct its runoff water ?
(Because my mix buffer straight 1.5 to 1.7 Ph points up every time

sounds like the soil lacks a buffering capacity man. might wanna look at a lime and foods or general veg and transition top coating.

well ,whats your soil mix make up? I need to know what Im working with to help. but all you need is a simple top coating made up from various materials ,cook or blend that for say a looong week and then apply and water in.. so that way you can add a long granule for transition and/or flowering and use a tea for veg once the top coating has taken effect and balanced it out some.

Runoff : 7.5 to 7.8 Ph With 356 ppm
Which I am worried regarding ( micronutrient deficiency can occur)
3 gallon pot inserted with 500 ml plastic cup without base
25 to 27 deg
Rh 40 to 50 %
Watering is daily but very controlled 20 to 40 ml to keep it moist flushed before transplanting seed
Strain dinafem cheese auto CBd
Nutrients GH trio + calmag

this tends to be the start up issue. its typical and you did nothing wrong man.just know your talking about PH and EC/PPM and the like,flushing and stuff. THAT my fine friend is a chemical way of growing. organic doesn't need to be controlled like that with a solid base mix. when making up the mix itself from literal scratch you'll need to PH and stuff.check temps n so forth but run off PH? thats a no go bro. EC and PPM are literally the same thing essentially. and another thing when small like that it doesn't need daily watering once the tap root is down. as long as the pot was watered in completely youll need small small watering's until the pots is light then another center watering. ill try to do a watering video before too too long man. and this isn't a bottled feed thread too just an fyi. all god bro I'm just saying with bottled feeds that's a PH chasing much of the time if your medium is off for any number of reasons.your combing organic and bottle feeds. they dont mix.

I started a another seed too .... it's day 2 now of the seedling ... in Coco perlite mix ... runoff was 6.8 ph .... 56 ppm
My question is When this seedling needs to start with mild nutes feed ?
It's true leaves r slowly growing ..... it's in day 2 now
I have GH flora series and Cali magic

I saw some sign of powdery mildew in soil mix plants ... in their start of the second week .... so look out for some remedy ..... so sprayed it with 1 part milk and 9 parts water and wipe the leaves with soft tissue ..... and set my ventilation fan too ..... ac was also working
