I would definitely go with 5 gallon containers if you’re thinking of growing 4 plants.
A mixture of Happy Frog, coco/perlite and dry amendments would be an option.

Man that’s a tough question. I’ll be honest. This round not topping I feel like my plants are exactly the same except, I have the big main cola. I’ve topped every auto previously. If you have the vertical space I have to say not to top. But, I’ve also said you should experiment and see what works best for you. Try it both ways.

I think my tent is 7 ft tall. I'm going to cram that thing full. I dunno which size pot I'm going to use either. I might do like nine 3 gallon pots or like 16-25 three liter plastic pots.
I'm going to try out some of the soil I got in a three gallon fabric and a three liter pot here in a few days. That way I have an idea what I'm in for come the main event.

I wouldn’t do the 3 liter plastic pots. They’ll do just fine but you’re gonna have to water a lot once they get into flower. I’m about to have to be watering twice a day.

It would be nice to have more stuff to do honestly. Right now I just have a baby in a25 gallon hydro set up. The pH and nute levels are so stable right now, I don't have anything to do...
Thinking I might do the three gallons in the tent and do the smaller pots outside. I dug a hole or two a few years ago, just big enough to put a 3l pot inside. Was able to keep em pretty short that way, they also kept moisture better. I'll probably do the same only with more plants this time.
