I have noticed no difference at all having it outside the tent... mine came with two attachable legs that I put on it and it just sits on the ground and does a great job.

So gonna wanna start germination soon and if anyone has any input on autos but I think they are the same as far as germ
I'm just gonna do the paper towel method I'm going to wet not soaked the paper towel put seed in the paper towel then put it in a zip loc bag and on a tray with heating mat check a few days later if seed popped straight into my 7 gallon pot cover with soil and lights at 50% (not sure if 50% is necessary or how long to limit the light for seedlings) any suggestions would be great thanks again

A lot of guys put them in a shot glass then when they sink they transfer to a wet paper towel.
ya I have heard that never tried it before maybe ill give it a go this time pretty excited to get them going might drop them tonight all my temps seem stable RH is low hoping it will rise with soil in there also gonna mix in some perlite and try to PH my soil I did not buy a soil meter so I gotta try to test run off with ph pen so will see how that goes nervous of the PH being off on the

well I said a little prayer to the weed gods 
then germinated my seeds WW XXL x2 and GSC x2 check back in a few days

ok so I put them in paper towel last night and checked them today all four cracked! in less then 24 hours question is should I let them germ for another 24hrs or plant them now?
how long is the tap root? most drop them in soil at 1/2 inch long
tap root is just sticking out of the seeds like it just cracked a little white poking out so maybe wait till tap root is a little bigger? that was my thought
well they are in dirt now I put them in pots last night turned lights to 50% and added a humidifier in hopes to raise RH ill update when they pop up
so one GSC and one WW is above ground how long should I wait on other 2 seedlings to sprout before I start thinking about germinating 2 more seeds if these didn't work out. Im gonna run the lights regardless so I should have as many plants as I can under them
