New Grower The Quest of a Newbie grower.

Thanks Ripper just set it up and got everything rolling not to long ago doing some temp tests in the tent with ventilation and such wanna get everything dialed in before I start germ got these recently and they are burning a hole in my pocket...:fire:View attachment 538916
That DinaFem cheese, and that GirlsScout cookies both will be impressive (see my current) as for setup looks great, and I would add some extra perilite in the mix. You wouldn't have to, but it may help if as a new grower you tend to overwater which can happen.

oh totally just slaped myself on the forehead lol ya just run it out one of the 6" vent holes with ducting and it will intake air from there wow so simple I assume shorter the better and just make sure like you said have a 180. great I love it smoking one in your honor ty :jointman:
I have a long one that runs to a vent in the garage that sucks in fresh air from the outside

thanks for the support so far guys!!!:bighug:

so since some of you are familiar with strains would 4 ladies be a good number for space and light?

id say space is 3.5-4x5
and I got 2 different 6 Cob units @300w giving me 600watts will supplement with T5's if needed as I have a few 4-8 bulb setups from my reef tanks sitting around what do you guys think?

I think it is a manageable first grow..

Sweet rig bro. Possible to hang the fan/filter combo in the top of tent to regain space ?

ya I really wanted to and that's where it was but the support poles were bending (anyone know what these things are rated for?) idk filter, fan and then 2 LED lights thought id go the safe route for now. Heard to many horror stories of coming home and finding a tent collapsed or lights fell on plants. I have a no name brand grow tent I'm trying to think up a way to add support to it but this was my solution for now also trying to figure a way to gain some head space back lost due to the length of the light hangers and the height of my milk crates I got the smart pots on

You can use some good pvc pipe as an additional beam and hang from there if you like. Most of the beams are able to support 40-60lbs. My Secret Jardin is rated at 60lb.

^^This. PVC is your best bet and it's cheap too, get some cut to length and two 90 degree elbows and you're good to go.

are your corner connectors metal or plastic?
