you could pick up some thermal epoxy since the screw holes are off. Either that or move them and try again. I would definitely make sure there was even pressure

Bad idea, they need even pressure for max contact to the heatsink or you could toast it

I know what happened and it almost happened to me. Marking the holes with the cob in place is hard as the holes on the holder are small, the drill but wants to walk and you can't see where the fins are behind the cob. It's not a big deal to move it over or turn it. If you have a small philips screw driver you can make a small impression to help the drill bit from walking too. This isn't an easy thing to do.

That's exactly what happened lol think I'll move them over anyway for a better coverage i have to get a new driver for it too coz i believe the one in there is too powerful for my cobs :/ back to the drawing board haha

It’s not to powerful. I believe you can run 3 cobs off that one. I ended up with 2-50v and It worked flawlessly. The higher voltage cobs do have higher wattage output.

Stripped the leds and solder then flipped the whole sheet over. The heatsink side doesn’t have to be as perfect as the cob side.
