Well you have stepped up the game in grow lighting. I see your lights running this forum already. Crazy how your 50w cob cant be closer than 26'' without razor edges and bleaching. But a 240w needs to be kept at 16'' keep running what you have! Its an awesome light for all around growers. I too am sold on cobs finally. Just be after holidays and I will be placing an order.

Some strains u can get all the way to 5" away and still don't effect in a negative way.

I can’t wait to do a light height thread. Any company spitting out heights is doing the wrong thing. I just had 2 messages asking the heights to set the cobs at. One guy had 1 in a 2x2 and another had 3 in a 2.5x2.5. Without asking the the size of the space and quantity of cobs in both spaces you can probably tell why you can’t just shoot out numbers and expect one height to fit all. There are a lot of variables and a mentioned above the strain also makes a big difference too.

My lsd25 in the cob battle thus year ran half of its life between 5-8" from the cob. I have some now at 10" and feeding .5 ml extra Cal Mag every other feed and have no issues, the strain environment have lots to do with it. Liquid cal mg I'm able to move closer to the cob, dry powder not much past 16" before I see issues. Imo and researching here at the stabbing cabin.

Have you noticed that the purple strains u can get close to the cob with, anything with purps, gorilla, or a sativa dominant imo can get really close if needed.

How many have battle scars from hitting ur head on edge of heatsink from the cob, bet u cuss like catching a toe on a table. I know I did then it swinging and chopped my plant clean off at the base before I could grab the light. I was so mad, but light was all good after the fall

The best feeling in the world is when watching those cobs light up. Throwing away the least efficient diode sold is the best thing you can do in a grow room.
