I'm more excited than you are. When your ready open the lid and get the info on the drivers and how many drivers are in there. A picture is easiest. I have done a few dozen mars conversions but never a 400. Just make sure it's unplugged lol and take your time

Hmmm..

If there's a soldering-free way to convert 'em to cobs, I think I see some more cobs in my future.

Yes it is solder free. The bjb holders accept wire and there would only be a need for a few wago connectors outside that. It may take an hour or two to complete depending on the amount of cobs and how you mounted them. For the last conversion I attached the cobs directly to the heatsink and tapped the heatsink with a smaller drill bit and the screws I was using. Little sneak peek

This is awesome! I recently ordered 4 of your autocobs. I am definitely interested in creating my own cob as well, or even buying a pack of your almost complete and doing it that way. Im just waiting for my new tent to come in and ill be all set to go

The almost complete has a terrible name lol but a great start in DIY. Depending on how many you're after I'd be happy to give a recommendation for the driver. Might make a new thread for that if there is enough interest

I'm just starting to research about building my own cobs i have a small area of 60cmx60cm can you tell me what the best set up would be in that size?
