Indoor The Giant Dr. Feelgood Project

Sorry I've been away for a while.....things got a little hectic and disorganised so nothing got weighed when it was all together and not everything got processed fully. The hydro one might have been in the region of 6oz but whatever it was it was a total pain in the arse trying to pick out all the yellow leaves.......

....so this time I made sure to note the day it popped it's head above ground. Temps I've improved a little but still have a way to go and plan on extending my room out to the eaves on one side so I can draw cooler air in and have a larger volume of air to heat up. And more space so I can run these through in a perpetual grow for a while (I'm hoping to need 2 more NFT systems and another wee light or 2 too:smoking:).

H2 popped her head above ground on 16/08/16:

Got transplated into her own NFT system at 14 days old:

Today is day 18 and since all 3 of my test beans have been used up I ordered some more and am about to get more rockwool soaking to start H3 in.

Did I mention I really like the smoke?! My compliments to the chef:toke:

Will try to do some bud shots and a smoke report but it has a really strong and distinctive flavour; real nice and full-bodied. Buds were nice and dense and shower trichome heads all over the place when you break a bit off too:woohoo1:

Looking forward to seeing your next effort with these - last time was pretty impressive!

Thanks, hopefully this time I'll get a dry weight for it too as after this 1 is done it might be 2 plants per 20 litre res which will hopefully return something like 10oz.

The smoke is going down a treat here, or at least the hydro one is as the soil one isn't as smooth or as potent. A good mate reckons it's even stronger than the Violator Kush (a photoperiod from Barney's Farm) I grew and I'm inclined to agree with him.....and it's a whole lot easier for me to grow too:worship:

Some pics I've been snapping along the way, even if I haven't had time to upload them in a timely fashion.....

Day 19; leaf tucking time.....

Day 24; still doing the odd wee bit of leaf tucking....

The rockwool on the right has 2 Dr Feelgood seeds in the big ones a ShortStuff Mix in the wee ones for a mate with a bigger NFT tank. There were a few reason I planted so many....I'm a bit behind on planting Dr. Feelgoods so I figure I would double up this time and I'm not sure about this new batch of rockwool as it seems a bit harder than the stuff I was using before and some seeds seem to have trouble breaking free of it so success rate might not be what it should be.

And one from today as the light came on so it wasn't all yellow looking....

Day 25:

Aye, time to get some decent 1" rockwool cubes to see if I can do better than this hit rate with seeds (the 4" blocks with the brand name printed on them are probably not the issue). The last ones I was using were, I think, from Growth Technology and came in a tray of 20 or so but this batch has no name on it and came in a tray of 77 of the buggers but for all it costs it ain't worth wasting many seeds on.

Day 37 for the big one and day 10 for the one being transplanted.....

Res filled enough to start with and flow rate set:

Then add the spreader mat, cut the cover to size and make a hole for the rockwool before sticking a plant in:

Now it's time to soak more rockwool for the next one and clean out the res I used to germinate in.:smoking:

Cheers bud. Not managed to get much done last few days but just about ready to stick another seed in a res. Rockwool is soaking and res clean but just not finished setting it up yet.

Managed to put a bit much nutes in the flowering one and the EC is up at about 2.2 instead of 2.0 but it's due a flush anyway and I've managed to wangle a couple of days off to catch up so hopefully no biggie.

Even if I don't get much time with my plants they seem to have progressed nicely during the last week...

Day 45 for the flowering Dr. Feelgood (and the towering Auto Red Poison),day 18 for the one on the right and day -3 (hopefully!) for the one under the humidity dome:

The mix pack I started for a mate are doing well I'm told but hopefully I'll get a chance to check on them later on. I've been running blind since they went into his 90L res and guessing based on my day 18 plant what his will be doing at the same age but I've no idea how good my guesses have been and things are about to get trickier.

A couple of snaps of the Dr. F tops:
