Day 8 / 9
Limey, Casanova and Nanas are all doing well. The weather has been dull but they're doing ok on the windowsill. If it's sunny at the weekend they'll go outside and mid next week they'll get a little splash of Biobizz grow at approx 2 weeks.

I'm really considering topping one / some but I don't know what would benefit from it more? A Sativa strain or Indica?
I plan to LST them all to keep them low, better than last year's plant!

Blueberry has made a bit of vertical progress too so hopefully she's over the shock and will begin to stretch her legs.

From my experience, the stretchier/taller plants are better to top, so I'd go with a more sativa dominant strain. However, topping still works for the indica dom as well.

Thank you, that is helpful info. I've got 2 sativa so will choose the strongest looking one at 4 nodes and try topping.

A little present to myself arrived in the post today.

I got a little automatic drip irrigation system.

Later on this year we have a few long weekends away planned so I got this to take care of all my container plants and flowers, my bonsai and of course my canna!

I'm hoping that I'll be able to test it out a bit in the coming days and get the perfect adjustment to keep each plant quenched while we are away.

Oh and the "special" plants had a good day out in the sun today. Really must post some pics tomorrow.

I also potted some sunflower seeds today. It might be a bit late to start but our garden needs a spot of colour against the fence so I picked up 2 varieties (a red and a yellow) which hopefully will do the job.

I like an outdoor grow. The sooner you can get them off the windowsill the better. Even if it means bringing them in at night. On good days, get 'em out.

I hear you, they really enjoyed the UK rays today. More of the same treatment in the week I hope.
Need to have them out in the next couple of weeks as Swans Father in Law is staying over so spare bedroom needs to have a clear windowsill [emoji3]

Day 12 for Nanas, Casanova and Limey.

And Day 7 for blueberry.

They all had a day out in the sun today, it was warm and bright here and when I got home they all had quite a lean on towards the setting sun. Just a few more days until the older 3 get a taste of their first nutes. Then a few more days before I pick one to top at the 4th node. The others I'll start to LST around the same time I think, get them leaning over early.

Blueberry is a little on the small side for day 7 but I'm just glad its growing after the tricky start.

Just tucking them up for an extra 2hrs CFL tonight and if it's decent in the morning they'll go outside. We have thunderstorms and very heavy rain forecast in the UK so will keep an eye on the sky.
