Hey there Squiddy, WVR, Mandy, growbewan and grindin, mighty nice of you to stop in
I have what looks to me to be a Calcium issue with a couple of plants, a Jem (maybe 2) and the RBB. I hate the way my camera makes my plants look very yellow, most are more green than yellow
Pictures of the Jem:
The RBB:
And another Jem just because I see color:
So what am I doing to fix the problems....nothing, I no longer trust any PH meter I have and..... don't trust the calibration fluid either!
Back to using drops and a shitty color chart for a little bit, new BlueLab PH meter coming soon.
Thanks JM, that is a fine looking meter indeed!
The one I was looking at getting was something like: This One
As for what the PH is, around 6....but thats really a guess I suppose as these color charts are shit!
I had the PH above 6 for a few days trying to green them up a little, now I am dropping the PH slowly over the next few days.
In my experience with RBB and PJem they do have a tendency to not like too much cal/mag. You might just want to try backing off their dose of Cal/Mag with those two strains, IF you are giving them cal/mag. But if you aren't you might want to give them just a little bit. Anymore than 2.5ml per week will bring you lots of problems. Every RBB I had started getting the cal/mag spots on the fan leaves. Some jems as well...
Sniper says "starve em like a supermodel" seems to work real good with Mossy's strains.
