Day 23

One of the SRxMI5 is a little sick and yellow, some nute burn and I think I dropped some nutes on the leaves....

For some crazy reason I have popped a few more beans (S60)....not sure what I am going to do with them if they live, I am going away in just over 6 weeks :P

LOL, if I could I would be popping beans every day...I am good at popping beans; just not so good at growing the actual plants :P

In Orstrailya you need to ring 000
And the plants do look funny, green in my cabinet, needs more yellow and that will come soon enough.

I got my new BlueLab nutrient meter this morning and put it straight to work, what it tells me is that I am just plain stupid....oh its true.
I had some nute mix left over from yesterday and tested it, it should have been around 580ppm, the new meter tells me it is around 840ppm (the old meter says 590ish).
It would appear the older meter uses the 500 scale and not the 700 scale (ECx500/700=ppm) as I thought and that is not good for my plants...as I was over fertilizing them for some time.

That combined with this bit of a PH issue and I wonder how I have managed to grow anything.
Two different PH meters....

The yellow meter is the oldest and was closest to the real PH, sadly I have been using the white one that is only a few months old and it is way out (high), both have since been re-calibrated and now both show roughly the same PH.
So that means I have been lowering the PH well below 5.5 so its no wonder I am starting to see some problems with the plants.

Oh well, same shit different grow :D

My nice RBB-I male:
RBB-I_16_May_2012.JPG

MI5-III female was paired with MI5-IV (hand pollinated on several buds)
RBB-IV female was paired with RBB-1 (hand pollinated on several buds)

The male Jem is going to be a few more days before it starts spewing pollen so I have a little bit of time to decide what else to pollinate, but its for sure that one of the Cobra's and a Jem will be getting some pollen.

/Edit
The three conversion factors various manufacturers use are:

USA 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 500 ppm
European 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 640 ppm
Australian 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 700 ppm

Hanna, Milwaukee 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 500 ppm
Eutech 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 640 ppm
Truncheon 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 700 ppm

Cobra-II
This plant I really like and as such it commands some of the best land in the cabinet.
I am not ashamed to say I got a little hard when taking the pictures, I mean there is some pussy in the pictures :D
In one picture the plant looks really yellow....the plant is truly nowhere near that color, silly camera (more likely user error)

No other pictures were done but I have some heights :D
AAxSG-1 = 15 1/2 inches
SRxMI5-1 = 14 1/2 inches
Cobra-II = 13 1/2 inches
RBB-III = 12 1/4 inches
Jem-IX = 11 inches
Cobra-I = 10 inches
Everything else ranges from 10 inches down to 7 inches.

Stunted grower

Your plants are looking and growing nicely

And hey nobody's gonna complain about a little pussy in the photo, even though she might have picked some of the executioner traits of her owner...
