a stunning group of plants mate!
In Orstrailya you need to ring 000
And the plants do look funny, green in my cabinet, needs more yellow and that will come soon enough.
I got my new BlueLab nutrient meter this morning and put it straight to work, what it tells me is that I am just plain stupid....oh its true.
I had some nute mix left over from yesterday and tested it, it should have been around 580ppm, the new meter tells me it is around 840ppm (the old meter says 590ish).
It would appear the older meter uses the 500 scale and not the 700 scale (ECx500/700=ppm) as I thought and that is not good for my plants...as I was over fertilizing them for some time.
That combined with this bit of a PH issue and I wonder how I have managed to grow anything.
Two different PH meters....
The yellow meter is the oldest and was closest to the real PH, sadly I have been using the white one that is only a few months old and it is way out (high), both have since been re-calibrated and now both show roughly the same PH.
So that means I have been lowering the PH well below 5.5 so its no wonder I am starting to see some problems with the plants.
Oh well, same shit different grow
Bluelab meter:
My nice RBB-I male:
MI5-III female was paired with MI5-IV (hand pollinated on several buds)
RBB-IV female was paired with RBB-1 (hand pollinated on several buds)
The male Jem is going to be a few more days before it starts spewing pollen so I have a little bit of time to decide what else to pollinate, but its for sure that one of the Cobra's and a Jem will be getting some pollen.

The three conversion factors various manufacturers use are:
USA 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 500 ppm
European 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 640 ppm
Australian 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 700 ppm
Hanna, Milwaukee 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 500 ppm
Eutech 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 640 ppm
Truncheon 1 ms/cm (EC 1.0 or CF 10) = 700 ppm
