Nothing like a good PH pen or combo meter. I had the yellow pen as well, worked ok but out of nowhere it would get out of line and be off by a whole point 6.5 was really 7.5... Yikes!!! So I'd have to calibrate it every time I used it. Pain in the ass. Just got me a new Hanna combo meter 
and life is sweet, I love the fact that it's waterproof. Just drop it in my bucket and no worries, what a time saver.

Just about got all the new shit I need (except seeds) for my next run, soon...soon...
And my little test is not going well, PH problem early on that I have not bothered to fix...and I stopped watering them so they look shit....so much time and so little to do!
