Greetings humans,

I am going to attempt to get a perpetual grow happening and this thread is now where I will show you how to stuff up a grow....every 20 days :P
The grow cabinet details and pictures are located Here if you want to see it.

Lighting is a 250w HPS running 18/6
Watering schedule is flood to waste (20% to 30% runoff).
Sprouts flooded once a day.
Older plants flood every second day.

Grow nutes are GH MaxiGrow (10-5-14), see the link below
Flower nutes are GH MaxiBloom (5-15-14), see http://www.genhydro.com/genhydro_US/maxiseries.html
Also will be using Proganics PK13-14, see http://www.pascoes.com.au/products.php?which=342&level=39

Media is 2:1 ratio of Perlite / Vermiculite (2cups perlite + 1cup vermiculite) with a thin layer of small Hydroton on the top and also there will be some with Coco.
All media was/is also flushed with PH 5.8 water @70ppm (GH MaxiGrow).

Plants will mostly be S60 but there may be others as we progress :)
Every 20 days more beans will be popped using my tried and true chainsaw file method as this is the fastest for me and I get close to 100% germ rate.
Out of 15 S60 beans 13 have popped and the other two look like they will pop also.

At the moment there are 7 Sour 60 females in my cab @ day 25, 1 in a cup that I have no idea what it is or how old, plus 12 S60 sprouts....and lastly my little one in a light socket that is near death.

Everything except my cabinet is subject to change as I am doing many experiments and as the results come in I may change some shit :P

P.S. My camera date was set wrong when the batteries were changed this morning.

I'm deff on board friend  Can you please explain the chainsaw file method to me. I have had problems germinating seeds. Thanks:peace:

The chainsaw file method is very easy to do and to stuff up :P

Get a seed and hold it between thumb and forefinger so that you can see the side of the seed, now get a file (round is best) and very gently file the edge of the seed. (Do not file the point or end of the seed, only the side)
Once you see black you must stop or you will be filing the little baby in there :P
In the picture below you can see the black patch where I have filed the seed.

And that is all there is to it really :)

And I did a test run of the TrainWreck (minus the plant) this morning just to see how the camera does, it ain't real good but I will still try :P
For those that do not know what I am trying to do; I am going to put a male plant on the railway line and hopefully a big fuckin train runs it over :)

Hell ya stunted glad you are up and running. I'm not to keen on your type of setup, so I'll ask some questions so I can understand how it works. Is it like a hydro setup? You fill those PVC pots up with water, then when its time to flush, empty them? I'm very intrigued by this type of setup, looks too advanced for me. I'll be following along, and taking notes on your mysterious ways.

Also, your fuckn trainwreck idea is hilarious. Can I get a video of this happening?

It is passive hydro, the containers are filled with Perlite/Vermiculite or Coco and simply flooded with nutes morning and night, but I have issues with PH that is driving me nuts :P

And yes when I finally get some video of a train hitting a plant you will get to see it too :D

You shouldn't have trouble with ph in the verm/perlite mix. Neither have a ph. The ph is what the nutes are. What is your mix ratio verm to perlite

Stunted you're doing Hempy style correct? I thought you only watered once a day until they hit the res then every 2-3 days
