I’ve just had a look on the local grow shop website and the silicone seals are 25p each. I think I’ll just buy a load of them and see if it sorts the problem. [emoji1694]

Yeah but ya still need to get out the vinegar. The new seals won't help much if the seat has a scale build-up. Dude just put a small RO filter down in the dungeon. Biggest drawback is you will go through tons of cal/mag and never get enough.

Ducks you can get jugs that remove the hardness lazy fooker won't even to that and vinegar just washes out dude like most acids just add water [emoji16]

I soaked it all in a scale remover and scrubbed it off Ducks. It’s very difficult to get at the seats tho, they’re in a channel that even I can barely fit my scrawny little finger into.

I’ve sorted the leak for now, I’m guessing it’ll probably happen again next time the res runs dry tho. Gotta get me a spare set of valves, I haven’t got a spare £60 at the mo tho.. many mouths to feed this Xmas, mate. [emoji6]

Whoa 60 pounds for a spare valve - they are proud of those aren't they. Yeah the scale is probably a blend of your hard water AND your nutes.
